Chapter 5 - Seal

"Where are you now? I'll be there right away." It was the square root of three of the Moonblade Guild. Luke was shocked. He didn't expect that the Transformation Seal skill book would appear so quickly. The power of the guild was indeed much stronger than that of an individual.

If he were to work alone for three days, he might not necessarily get the skill book.

"This side of Lake Al'Ameth, I spawned the Lesser Demons as you said," Square Root Three asked jokingly, "Since you know how to spawn the Transformation Seal, can you tell me how to spawn the Taming Skill Book?"

Taming is a hunter's signature skill. Only a hunter who has learned taming and has a pet is a real hunter.

"That one needs to kill the level 6 monster on the back hill - Jungle Wolf. It will give out two hunter skill books, Taming and Pet Revival, as well as Druid's Transformation to Wolf, Mage's Fire Blast, rogue's Backhand Backstab, and if you're lucky, you might even get Warrior's Shield Bash."

Oh, spoke too quickly. As soon as he finished speaking, Luke regretted it.

It's also because I'm so excited that I can get "The Seal" soon.

Fortunately, these were all insignificant information and were not secrets to those who took the test.

The blood of a rogue should be cold, so he must stay calm in the future.

The square root of three was actually just a casual question, and I never expected that there would be an answer, and such a detailed one.

"Shield Strike"!

If shield strike is really released, then the defense profession will no longer be a burden that is neither good-looking nor useful, and the third-level dungeon Spider's Lair can be cleared in a team.

After repeatedly killing this kind of monster, the task of obtaining the Night Blade Leopard's fur was completed long ago, and Luke immediately set off for lake Al'Ameth.

In the game history of "Dawn", the spirit of the wilderness, Aessina, created the inferior demon race "without remembering the details of the process" and gave them Lake Al'Ameth as their habitat.

Aessina is also a demigod. It was once rumored that she was the spouse of Cenarius and the mother of the dryad sisters and jungle guardians, but neither she nor the King of the Forest confirmed or denied this statement.

Perhaps due to the careless attitude of the Creator, the little demons are rather ugly. They often mutter "This is our territory, invaders must die" while throwing fireballs at invaders.

In fact, these ferocious-looking little monsters are vegetarians, and their food is moss.

The Corrupted Demonic Moss quest requires you to find and collect twenty quest items in the territory of the Lesser Demons.

Not long after, Luke found Square Root of Three, but Square Root of Three was not alone. He brought two studio members with him, one was a mage, and the other was a druid!

The druid said, "I just have a lot of money." He looked at Luke with a bad face. The team got a druid skill book and thought it would be his, but unexpectedly the captain left it to a rogue.

If you were in my shoes, would you be able to have no resentment?

It's possible to quit the group.

Luke knew this druid. He was a very wealthy second-generation rich man who was very concerned about his reputation. The most famous thing he did was to offer a reward for the head of the top rogue "Water Elf". The reason seemed to be that the rogue had good equipment and would not sell it to him.

That incident caused quite a stir at the time, but I won't go into the specific reasons.

"This is the skill book you wanted," Square Root Three handed the skill book in his hand to Luke. He did not leave after the transaction was completed. He had reservations about Luke's statement that he was "asking for a skill book for a friend."

There are indeed some public skill books in "Dawn" that can be learned by all professions, but they definitely do not include skill books with strong professional characteristics such as "Seal Transformation".

"I have a magic wand here. I'll give it to you to offset this skill book." Luke did not satisfy their curiosity. He put the skill book into his backpack and took out the magic wand he had just obtained.

The staff has a wide range of uses and can be used by mages, warlocks, priests, and druids.

"Offset? What a joke, you want to offset the skill book with a blank equipment?" Square Root took a look and immediately shouted.

That's right, he came here to cause trouble.

"You can also choose not to use it," Luke was too lazy to explain how high the damage of this staff was and how useless the seal skill book was.

"That's enough." Just because I'm rich and stupid doesn't mean that Square Root Three has a problem with his brain. He grabbed the man and took the staff from him. "Let's settle the matter as you said. Do you want to level up with us?"

"Not for now, I'll just do a collection mission and leave," Luke didn't really want to team up with them. On the one hand, he didn't want to expose his secrets, and on the other hand, he wanted to practice the completion level alone.

Team practice requires efficiency, and others are not obligated to cooperate with him in practicing techniques. What's more, he doesn't like these arrogant "rich people".

He still has 8% experience left. If he completes the two tasks on hand, he can level up by 2 levels. Then he can find a skill trainer to learn an important skill for a rogue - Sneak Attack. After learning sneak attack, the rogue's leveling will become more efficient.

Sneak Attack: Instant, stuns the enemy for 4 seconds, must be launched in stealth mode, rewards 2 combo points.

Although there is no damage, the four-second stun caused by the sneak attack skill makes the rogue begin to have the style of the king of control. Whether in PVE or PVP, this skill is the starting move of most professional rogue players in stealth state.

Unfortunately, this skill cannot be upgraded.

Square Root of Three is a diplomat of the Moonblade Guild. He is relatively easy to talk to. He was not angry after being rejected by Luke, but he just has a lot of money and his face doesn't look very good.

This second-generation rich guy has always been the first in everything and is sought after by everyone, but today not only did he not get the skill book for his job, he was also scolded by Luke. If it weren't for the fact that Square Root of Three was not easy to mess with, he would have wanted to pull a few people from the guild to chop Luke up.

After completing the collection and returning to the village, Luke handed in the three tasks of Night Blade Leopard Cub, Night Blade Leopard Fur, and Corrupted Magic Moss, and successfully upgraded to level 2 and also successfully learned the sneak attack skill.

Of course, the price he paid was that his wealth, which had just broken through to the silver coin stage, was once again reduced to the bronze coin stage.

This is how the game is. The money you earn is never enough to spend. Learning skills, repairing equipment, buying potions, there will always be various reasons to thin your wallet.

Luke also did not forget the "Transform into a Seal" in his backpack. This skill is not a rogue professional skill, but it will appear in his skill column after learning it.

Transform into a seal: Instantaneous, you transform into a seal that is good at swimming and can enter the water to explore. The duration is 20 minutes, and the cooldown time is 30 minutes. The swimming speed increases by 50%, and the hatred attraction is reduced by 30%. You gain the ability to breathe underwater. You cannot use attack skills when transformed. The current level is 1/1000.

To be honest, the seal transformation skill is terrible and is one of the most insignificant skills among the druid's many skills.

Its effect is very limited.

The only use of this skill for most druids is to collect herbs and mine in the water.

What the seal form can do, ordinary players can also do as long as they use the underwater breathing potion, and players who have taken the underwater breathing potion can use attack skills at will.

But this time it was completely different. Luke was a rogue, a rogue who could transform into a seal.

The reason why he dared to promise Caroline Studio that they could earn 20 gold within a week was because of this - a rogue who could transform into a seal!

Sneaking towards lake Al'Ameth Lake from a relatively remote corner, Luke looked around. A splash of water spread out in all directions, and then he disappeared on the water.
