Kuroshi High, a high-school located within Archived Dystopia, the only ones capable of enrolling, are those with strange powers beyond human comprehension. There were only two exceptions to that rule.
Bmon was still in panic from what he saw earlier, but he quickly calmed down as they entered the school and went to class, their class was 2-B.
"Oh good, we made it in time… I was honestly thinking we were gonna be a tiny bit late…" Daisuke pointed out while sighing.
Bmon thought for a moment before asking a question. "Say, Daisuke… I don't really remember our classmates that well, could you introduce them?" He asked.
Daisuke glanced at him for a brief moment. "...Bmon it's our first day in High-School, I don't know them either…"
Bmon's eyes widened as he realized. "O-Oh, my bad… I just seem to be having a hard time remembering things lately." He told him. "...I mean I'm not lying, it's just gonna take a while to catch up on 16 years worth of memories that were suddenly slapped into my head…" He thought to himself.
Suddenly, the teacher came in. "Please take your seats. My name is Kaede. I will be your teacher for your time at Kuroshi High." She told the class.
"Now, please come up and introduce yourselves starting from the first desk to the left- Wait, is she not here…?" Suddenly, a girl came crashing into the classroom door.
"...S-Sorry! I forgot it was a school day…" She said while catching her breath.
"...Kana, you're lucky I'm nice enough to let it slide since this is the first day of school, but don't be late again. Now, introduce yourself in front of the class." Kaede told her.
"H-Hello… My name is Konoe Kana, I am a swordswoman from 200 years ago, I frequent ice cream shops…" She sat down next to Bmon.
Bmon got up to introduce himself. "...My name is Fukumoto Bmon, I'm having a hard time remembering things right now, however I am an otaku, it's nice to meet you all." He sat back down.
Daisuke got up from his seat. "My name is Suzuki Daisuke, I like the sights of this city, due to my fascination with horror." He sat back down.
"...H-Hello, my name is Tsuki Aoi. I-I'm a little shy around other people, but I can manage, I like the coldness of the night." She sat back down.
Aoi's eyes widened as the boy beside her stood up, he resembled a demon. "Uh… My name is Akuma. As you may be able to tell, I am a demon, I don't get along with angels, however I'm not really a bad person… I like amusement parks. He sat back down as a girl behind Kana scoffed.
She stood up, her feathery wings spread open. "My name is Tsubasa. As you can see, I am an angel. I don't tend to get along with demons, and I like observing individuals who seem to be nice people." She glared at Akuma before sitting down.
The next classmate stood up. "My name is Arata, I like tennis, and I enjoy eating spicy foods. I also enjoy parties." He sat down.
"Hello, My name is Asuga, my interests are… cute boys, and also skydiving." She sat back down.
"My name is Itsuki, as for my interests… I particularly enjoy nature, and as such I really enjoy being around greenhouses."
"My name? It's Eiko… I enjoy hanging out with my friends, I like desserts as well as parties."
As the next classmate got up, everyone could smell something foul in the air. "My name is Hiroyuki, I like to experiment with different poisons to see which ones are stronger than the other" He smirked, "Don't mix poisons in my class…" Kaede glared at him before he sat down.
"Oh it's finally my turn! Um… My name is Atsuko, I am a well known gamer online, I am what you would call a NEET!" She said proudly as she sat down, Bmon looked at her with a questionable look. "...Well at least you have a lot of guts to say that proudly."
"Hmm… O-Oh, m-my name is Benjiro. I like to visit places with paranormal activity, ghosts are very fascinating to me…"
"Hehe… It's my turn huh? My name is Kirika, I love fashion! I also enjoy visiting flower shops, and hanging out with friends."
"M-My name is Haruki… Um, I'm not actually from this world. However I am exceptional at healing wounds… So if any of you ever get injured, please come see me…"
The next classmate stood up, their ears were pointy unlike the rest of the students. "My name is Kioko, I'm an elf, however I suppose that's obvious… As for my interests… I like savoring precious moments in time."
"My name is… Keisuke. My interests are movies that contain a LOT of explosions. I enjoy competitive gaming."
"I am Koharu, I enjoy sunny days on the beach, the feeling of sand while the sun is directly facing you is liberating…"
"Huh… I guess I'm not the only elf here… My name is Hinata, and I REALLY like space, I tend to have a telescope with me at all times when I'm not at school."
"...M-my name is… K-Kuromi… I'm also a NEET. P-Please be nice to me…" She sat back down before Kaede began to speak.
"Okay, that should be everyone… Now, as you may have noticed, there are two people here who don't actually have any supernatural powers like the rest of you, that is because our mayor, Fukumoto Dan, and his wife Himari have asked us to make an exception for them, those two are Kana and Daisuke." She explained.
"Now that we have that out of the way, our first lesson will be on the supernatural powers themselves, We call them "Resonant". They are a form of connecting with the forces above, in a sort-of resonance. They allow us to do various things, however the less connection we have, the less powerful it can be."
Bmon raised his hand. "Kaede, what if someone used a resonant for nefarious purposes?" He questioned. "Ah. Good question, honestly… I don't think there's any punishment given if you do, but generally if you use your ability for nefarious purposes, I would think your connection would be lower…"
"Oh, that reminds me! Can I talk about something I heard on the news, Kaede? It's related to resonants…" Atsuko asked.
"Sure…"
"I heard that there is this man going around dark alleyways, kicking ass whenever he sees anyone who's doing a crime! He's gained the nickname… "Rising Dragon" due to the way he fights them, some even say he has a resonant himself!" Atsuko pointed out.
"T-That's great, Atsuko… I'm sure we will never see this "Rising Dragon" man though…" She tried changing the subject.
The bell suddenly rang. "O-Oh, would you look at that! It's lunchtime, I'll be back once lunchtime is over, the cafeteria is on the first floor, to the east…" Kaede walked out of the classroom, sighing.
"Well… These classmates sure are a friendly bunch aren't they, Bmon?" Daisuke smirked.
Bmon blankly stared at him. "...Yes, they are indeed friendly. However one of them said they liked cute boys, I think that's too friendly…"
