Navigating through the partying tribal people was easier, the difficult thing was to track the movements of his target. They made their way through the tribal living space, making their way outside of the premises of the tribe. It was a moonless night, which meant that they could go unnoticed if they moved far away from the tribe. But unlucky for them, Harry had night vision in his eyes.
He followed them for a while, maintaining some distance and, by crouching and crawling, when they came to a stop. The silence of the plains was a blessing that made it easier for him to listen to their conversation.
"WHAT IS THAT YOU WANT?" Groga said angrily, "Why are you trying to kill my boy? Why Gremla? What is that you desire?"
With tears in her eyes, she replied, "I want to end the life of Kukarachan! He does not deserve to live, you know that. I know that. I dont see why you want that boy to live. Have you forgotten the rules of the tribe, Groga?"
"Rules of the tribe?" Groga almost screamed. The man clenched his fist very tightly, and he breathed out. "Gremla. Leave Adui alone. I dont know what your obsession with killing that boy is, but if you dont stop, I will have to take action." With the Groga started heading back.
"You wanted to kill him, as much as I did," she yelled. Harry raised his eyebrow at the accusation.
Gremla ran to Groga, held his man's hand to turn him around, so that she could confront him, "What happened to your conviction? Didnt you say that you would take care of him in Agora? Why is he still alive, Groga? Why?"
This is like watching a trashy soap opera live, Harry thought.
"Because he survived," Groga said angrily. "I saw the fluctuation of Vita around the Sacred Dome. I knew that if I were to throw the boy to the dome, he would be dead. Any other person would be. I did it… And guess what, instead of killing him, the dome granted him powers… somehow…"
I really need to check the dome out, Harry thought. With Groga's words, it was now proven that his presence in this world was indeed related to the dome. And as the dome is the Grand Priestess' house, maybe she might be involved in it as well.
"… Now.. Adui has become the hero that we have been waiting for. He would make our ancestors proud, it doesn't matter if his blood is tainted. Now, that boy cannot die. I simply won't allow it."
Tainted? What does he mean by tainted? Harry thought.
"He will die!" Gremla insisted, "I cannot bear to lie to Imka. And I cannot see my husband being proud of someone that is not even his own…"
Harry almost choked, giving away his position. Before, he had just speculated that this was a very bad space opera, but now it was officially confirmed. As far as the revelation was concerned, it didnt matter to him whether he was the biological son of Imka or Groga. Vulcans and Heks would be destroyed by him in the future; the name of his father won't make any difference to his plans.
Groga, with anger in his eyes, stared into the eyes of Gremla, "You listen to me carefully, woman… Some hunters and protectors are already suspicious of Imka. They have noticed the mark on the boy's arm was made by a knife. And they dont have any doubt about. Test my patience again, and I will do what I should have done from the start."
"You will be crushed too, Groga," Gremla said without fear.
Groga didnt show any fear, instead just passed her a smile, "You really believe that people of the tribe will believe the deranged wife of a kid killer, or me? The chief of Vulcan, who had led us for many moons?"
Gremla's eyes didnt falter, so Groga further added, "Stop this madness. And maybe, just maybe… Your family would be able to live," With Groga strood off, leaving behind angry Gremla…

After Harry came back and joined the party once again, he sat down in the corner, with his mind still reeling from the revelations. Everything now made sense to him, and knowing this fact could work for him.
I need to play my cards well. He thought. If enough motivation, Groga will kill Imka and Gremla by himself. And maybe Karina as well. If that happens, then I dont need to dirty my hands. That would be the ideal situation for him.
Harry was not afraid to kill, but there was a certain hesitation in him when it came to killing Imka and Gremla. Maybe the hesitation is there because the older owner of his new body saw them in a good light. He cannot say for sure. But if a chance arose where he could just bypass killing them two without being directly involved, he would surely take that offer in a heartbeat.
Now I just need to find the correct motivations for Groga, He knew that the baldy would be receptive to manipulation. But he would only act when pushed to the edge. Now he only needs to know what can push Groga's mood.
"Adui," he looked up to see Joron standing before him.
"Come with me, boy," he said. "We need to talk," For some reason, Joron seemed very serious.
"Sure, elder. What do you want?"
Joron looked around and said, "Not here. Come with me," Curious, Harry followed the man without any question.
Through the crowd, Joron took Adui towards the path, which goes to the top of the rock. It is at its entrance that he noticed there were eight Vita Wielders of the tribe hanging around the path. They had their spears and other weapons with them. He had never seen any tribesmen carry weapons with them on the tribal ground.
They are guarding the way up, right? He thought. Is it because of the Aqua tribe? He didn't dwell on the thoughts as they didnt matter at the moment.
When they got up, Harry saw that no slave was on the rock. Usually, they are always up there and are not allowed to go down. But currently, all the slaves were downstairs, catering to the needs of the Aqua tribe and the Divine Messenger. In the desolate forge, Joron went straight to his hut, with him closely tagging behind.
In the dark hut, Joron lit a candle. And gestured for Harry to sit down on a small stool. After they had both sat down, Joron started with a long sigh, "Adui.. You know that the tribe cares about you. We care about the skills that you have, and we see a lot of potential in you. Which is why, after a lot of deliberation, the tribe had decided to give you a Creature's Essence as a reward."
Wasn't that.. He remembered that Imka mentioned something like this before. But he had no idea what it was. "What is the creature's essence, elder?"
Joron cleared his throat, "Boy.. As we humans, we can wield Vita because of Lord Leh's blessing. But sometimes Lord Leh provides the same gift to beasts as well. And the beasts who could wield Vita develop some special powers,"
"Powers?" he asked, thinking about the glowing horse and the Watsumono.
"Yes, powers. And we, as the children of the Lord Leh, could steal those powers, if we are able to slay such a beast,"
Harry was now getting more curious about the power that Joron was mentioning, "How exactly does it work?"
Joron passed him a smile and then brought a chest from the corner of the room, and opened it before his eyes. The chest was filled with blue glowing rocks. These jagged and randomly sized rocks were very familiar to him, as some of these were transported from Agora to the tribe.
"These are the creature's essence. With the Lord Scripture and these glowing rocks, anyone can become a great warrior," Joron added with a smile…
