The village erupted in quiet celebration. Spiritlights danced through the treetops, as Dryas herself gave a blessing over the two girls.
Dryas (voice echoing with otherworldly grace):
"These children are born of unity… of fate rewritten. May Lyanna carry her people's kindness and courage, and may Jinora wield the wisdom of spirit and sword."
Satsuki held each girl gently in turn, a rare softness on her face.
Satsuki (to Jon):
"They'll be strong. You'll need to raise them with both warmth… and vigilance."
Over the next few days, Jon and Asha found themselves adjusting to parenthood. Jon carved wooden cradles using dwarven spiritwood, enchanted to soothe and protect the twins. Asha nursed and sang lullabies from her homeland, passed down from her mother.
One night, as the babies slept side by side under spirit-crystal stars, Asha turned to Jon.
Asha:
"I used to think I had nothing left… that the world had taken everything from me. But now… I have you. I have them."
Jon wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his forehead on hers.
Jon:
"We'll protect them. We'll raise them strong. And one day, they'll change the world."
Their home was small, but filled with warmth and magic. Two daughters. A united family. And a future brighter than anything Jon had ever imagined when he first walked into the Desolate Expanse Mercenary Guild.
This… was only the beginning.
