In a dimly lit room buried inside a modest three-bedroom house, the glow of a computer screen cast eerie shadows on the walls. The faint hum of the machine was the only sound that filled the suffocating silence. Seated before the flickering screen was a chubby teenage boy, slouched and brooding, eyes narrowed in envy as he watched an episode of To Love-Ru.
He clicked his tongue in frustration, his fists clenching as yet another scene showed the protagonist, Yūki Rito, being swarmed by gorgeous anime girls.
"Lucky bastard," he muttered with venom. "How much I wished I was in his place."
He leaned back in his chair, eyes reflecting both longing and pain.
"How much I wished those isekai stories were real… If only I could go to another world, I'd make good use of it. I'd live like I always dreamed."
The boy's name was Saji Kiba—a high school graduate who should've been in university. But life hadn't been kind to him. Born into a household devoid of love, his existence had been one of neglect, ridicule, and pain.
"My name is Saji Kiba," he whispered bitterly. "A nobody. Just another failure. My parents, my siblings… they all look down on me. Useless. Worthless. Pathetic. They wished I was dead—or never born at all."
Saji's voice cracked as he spoke. He turned away from the screen, staring at the ceiling like it might give him an answer.
"There were times I thought about ending it all… just giving them what they wanted. But I was a coward. I couldn't even do that. So I just kept going, praying for a miracle—some kind of reset. A second chance."
He shut off his laptop and climbed into bed, pulling the covers up to his chin. The room remained silent, save for his final plea to the universe.
"Please… whatever R.O.B. is out there… grant me a second chance at life. In another world. Somewhere… anywhere but here."
And then, darkness.

When Saji opened his eyes, he found himself standing—alive, aware—but no longer in his room.
He wore a flowing white robe and sandals. The space around him was a featureless white void, infinite and blinding. He turned slowly in awe and confusion.
"Where… am I?"
A sudden chime rang out, and in front of him appeared a glowing blue screen:
> Congratulations. You have been chosen among many to be reincarnated into another world. You are granted 6 wishes to aid you in your new life.
Saji blinked, his heart racing. The screen shifted again, revealing a digital keyboard and another panel.
> World Info: You will be sent to a fantasy world of swords and magic, where humans, elves, and other races coexist.
"It's… really happening." He fell to his knees. "Thank you. Thank you for hearing me."
Rising with renewed determination, Saji began to type his wishes—each one forged from years of pain, yearning, and daydreams.

"I want an X-Gene that grants me the powers of the Moku Moku no Mi, Bloodbending, Hie Hie no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi, Wood Release, Telepathy, Mind Control, Super Strength, Longevity, Portal Creation, Agility, Durability, Reflexes, Stamina, Telekinesis, Lie Detection, Emotion Detection, Jūgo's Kekkei Genkai, Omnilingualism, Sasuke's Rinnegan, Shape-shifting, Omni-Mastery, Sharingan, Goro Goro no Mi, Shikotsumyaku—with adamantium-hard bones—and a healing factor so powerful that it makes me nearly impossible to kill."

With his final keystroke, the screen pulsed and vanished. Another screen appeared:
> Wishes Confirmed. Reincarnation in progress. You will now be reborn into the world of Seirei Gensouki as Jon Snow—half-elf, abandoned child, born of fire and shadow. May you walk the path of destiny.
Saji's body shimmered, pixel by pixel, dissolving into pure light.
"This time… I'll live on my own terms," he said as he faded. "This time… I'll make the world remember me."
