Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Time resumed its course. John swung his axe at the Imperial's sword with incredible speed. The Imperial's arm went numb from such force and he took 3 steps back. John's eyes lit up orange. Heat rose to his throat. It felt like lava was flowing down his esophagus. He took a deep breath and let out a stream of fire from his mouth onto the back of the captain of the local soldiers. The iron armor quickly turned red and began to melt.

— Aaaaaaa!!! She dropped her sword.

Her scream echoed throughout the fortress. Ralof watched with a stunned face as the armor of liquid iron dripped from the back of the squad captain. She, in turn, was trying to remove the armor.

The soldier was just as surprised as Ralof. He quickly ran to help his commander, but was stopped by an axe that hit him in the back.

"You shouldn't have done that, buddy. They should have nailed me after the fire.

Blood began to flow from the Imperial's mouth. He must have been attracted to her.

—Damn it, damn it, take off your armor. "It looks like her buckles are stuck on her armor." Surprisingly, she doesn't roll on the floor in pain, but just sits on the floor.

Ralof slowly stood up and picked up his axe. John and Ralof approached the enemy.

"Let's kill her." Ralof said.

- no. Let him suffer.

"Why?"

— I said let him lie here.

—Okay, okay. You saved me, so you decide for yourself. See if they have any keys.

— good. - The captain stopped screaming and fainted from pain shock.

Ralof went to the iron door. There was a path to freedom beyond that door. I looked through the bars of the door.

John decided to take off his armor after all. Her back was terrible. It was mutilated and covered with liquid metal. John removed the metal and poured some water from a flask over the burns. Steam rose from the body. It smelled burnt. He quickly took the keys and the helmet, which was intact.

* Click*. The sound of the door opening rang out. After going downstairs, they reached the corridor.

*Bdums*. Part of the ceiling collapsed. All that remains is the door. John decided to catch his breath and started whispering to Ralof.

— Ralof. Listen carefully. You need to keep your voice down now.

— Yeah, I'm listening.

"There are Imperials outside the door. Probably about 2-3.

"I see." And what do you suggest?

"So that's the point. You go in first and lure them out. When they get closer, I will abruptly enter the room and burn them.

— great. Are you sure you can do it?

- yes. I've had enough for a couple of times.

Accepting the plan, Ralof opened the door and there were 2 people behind it. One looks like a commander, and the other is just a soldier. They turned their gaze to the armor and immediately realized what was going to happen.

—Damn brother of the storm. You shouldn't have come here.

They furiously went on the attack, but John came out in time and attacked with fire from his mouth. At this distance, they quickly turned burnt. The smell of burning was right in my nose.

— Cough, Cough. Damn John, when did you learn to do that?

— Yes, even from the moment when the Dragon arrived. I followed his movements. And during the battle, there was a turning point.

— What do you mean?

— well... It's hard to explain.

— Okay. Let's search everything here. Maybe something will turn up.

John and Ralof quickly searched every table, cupboard, and barrels. They found 5 healing potions, 3 endurance potions, and 2 magic recovery potions. Then they left the room and walked down the corridor. Reaching the torture room. There were 3 rebels and 2 Imperials fighting there. After quickly disposing of them, John drank a little potion of minor healing. The wounds on his body began to heal at a noticeable rate.

— Give it to me too. Ralof said.

- of course.

He also drank the potion and his wounds began to grow a dark crust. "Amazing."

Next, they killed about 5 Imperials together along the way. The rest of the Storm brothers decided to stay on guard. Ulfric will suddenly appear. Then they crossed the river and found their way to the spiders.

"I hate spiders."

—Come on, Ralof. See how friendly their eyes are.

— I would prefer to avoid such a friendship.

John dodged a blow from the spider's paws. The poison is already in John's body. "I really feel like my blood is freezing in my strength. I think I'll take their poison." The arthropods were easy to deal with. They weren't serious opponents.

After catching their breath a little, they walked on. When they saw the sleeping bear, they walked quietly past her. After passing this dangerous animal, they reached the exit outside.

— Finally. John exclaimed.
