After the transfer of the informations ended, Ji Yen shook his head to clear his mind.
"What just happened?" Ji Yen said softly as he kept shaking his head.
A new system message popped up.
[Ding! What host just experienced was the nature of memories inheritance.
Every Demon Beasts who has graded Bloodline or rank will experience that.]
Hearing the words of the system, Ji Yen stopped shaking.
Then the system asked.

"Yes please." Ji Yen replied.

•Also usable for navigating high-altitude winds, caves, or aerial combat zones.

Type: Passive (Cultivation Aid)
Gains increased absorption speed of wind spiritual energy, improving evolution and skill growth rates.
• Enhances recovery during storms or windy environments.
• Can meditate while flying or gliding to passively cultivate.]
"Wow... so much for one evolution." Ji Yen was fascinated when saw the data of the new abilities. "If I get new abilities every time I evolve to a new form, I will be a master of thousands of abilities."
[Please be aware that the abilities are not issued by the system. They are the result of host's evolution to a new species. And every evolution will not always have memories inheritance.]
The system poured a cold water on Ji Yen's fantasy. It did not end there.

[And it is also better be aware that host can not use the abilities or skills to its full potential since the host is in growing state. Once host reaches the mature state, you can use it freely. And lastly, host must practice them regularly to be an expert in these skills.]
"What!!? I have to practice the skills regularly. Why? I mean I already have them in my memories." Ji Yen asked in a surprised and puzzled tone.
It was not because he was lazy. He was a soldier who did many works that requires use of heavy muscles works. He asked it because he simply did not understand why he need to practice the skills when the skills was already in his head.
The system responded in a calm tone, like a teacher explaining to a student.
[Host, please understand that knowing theory is not enough. You must must apply it to work. It is as simple as that.]
Looking at the system's words, Ji Yen's eyes twitches.
"Then, what about the cultivation thing? How do I do that?" Ji Yen inquired.

"Are the sun and moon energy and heaven and earth energy the same?" He asked.

This time the system sounded a little frustrated with Ji Yen.
Well that is true. Anybody would be annoyed, having to answer too many questions.
It was like a curious child asking things like. 'What is that, why is that...how is that...blah..blah is that?' for every damn thing.
Feeling the system's frustration, Ji Yen also felt like he was asking too much questions. He should save some for tomorrow too.
Then, he turned his head to check his surrounding.
After he finished his evolution, he did not have time to check before he submerged into the system.
When he started checking around, everything was the same except for his nest which was destroyed and the burned tree branch he was standing.
Suddenly he was hit with an intense sense of hunger.
"Why am I so hungry? Is this the side effect or something?" He asked in a panic.
[Host must be experiencing the post evolution hunger, which is normal. It is because host spent too much energy.]
"I thought you said I will only need 50 energy points for that evolution!!?" Ji Yen said in a angry and loud voice.
But all the surrounding things heard was nothing more than a big sparrow chirping loudly.
[I said it will take 50 energy points for the evolution, not for all the works to bear that.
It's like host lifting heavy things with machines. The machines will do the lifting but host must spend his energy to operate the machine.]
"Humph." Ji Yen closed the system angrily. He felt like he was cheated by the system. He knew it will take some extra energy for him to bear during the process. He just did not think it will take so much more than he could imagine.
"It seems like I should at least prepare extra 10 or 20 more energy than needed for the evolution. And a nest." He murmured to himself.
He flew down to the ground towards the new ants nest, to relieve his hunger first.
When he started eating, he discovered that the energy provided by the ants was less than before. When he first discovered the ants, they provided him with 1 to 1 energy points. Now, it was 1 to 3 energy points. 1 energy points for every 3 ants. And his appetite was larger.
He thought maybe it was because he was stronger after the evolution.
Having eaten his fill, he left the ants alone. Then he started wandering the area to find a way to build his new home. Or just find a already built one.
