Seraphina's POV
"We will pretend this never happened," I said, my voice steady despite the frantic beating of my heart. I stared at Kaelen, keeping my expression blank as I could manage while still trying to catch my breath.
He looked shocked, then angry – his green eyes darkening with rage.
"What did you say?" Kaelen growled, still too close to me. The scent of him – pine and musk – clung to my skin like a brand.
"You heard me." I stepped back, creating distance between us. "This never happened. And you will not tell your brothers."
Kaelen's jaw clenched. "You don't give me orders, Luna."
"I'm not ordering. I'm warning you." I pulled my torn nightgown tighter around me. "Leave. Now."
He didn't move. Instead, he stepped closer, towering over me. "You think you can control this narrative? That's my line, Seraphina."
