Chapter 12 - Chapter 92: Has the Sea God Manifested?

At that moment, Bibi Dong was pacing nervously at the entrance.

Earlier, her teacher and Zhao Ling had been testing each other's martial spirits inside the Pope's Hall, and it had made her extremely anxious.

But when she felt her teacher's aura being completely suppressed by Zhao Ling's, a trace of pride appeared in her beautiful eyes.

As expected, the man she had her eye on was excellent—he could even rival her teacher. That was wonderful.

However, soon after, the Grand Priest and Second Priest had arrived uninvited, which naturally made Bibi Dong very worried. She feared that her teacher and the two priests might make things difficult for Zhao Ling.

Just as she was thinking about barging into the Pope's Hall to see what was going on, a diary copy suddenly popped up in front of her, showing that new content had been updated.

Without hesitation, she immediately began reading it—but the contents left her crying and laughing at the same time.

She genuinely thought Zhao Ling might have a few screws loose. Even while facing her teacher, he still had the mood to write in his diary—fine, that was one thing.

But even after the Grand and Second Priests showed up in the Pope's Hall, he still had time to write? Was he truly not even a little nervous?

What shocked her even more was that Zhao Ling actually complained about her teacher in the diary, complimented the Grand Priest's family's good looks, and questioned how she could fall for Yu Xiaogang while being totally indifferent toward her handsome teacher.

Bibi Dong thought to herself: she'd been raised by her teacher since she was little, so seeing him as a father figure was only natural. How could she ever have thought about having that kind of relationship with Qian Xunji?

Once again, she rated Zhao Ling as "seriously mentally unwell."

Then there was that woman named Bo Saixi—Bibi Dong had no impression of her. As for Tang Chen, she vaguely remembered he was once the sect master of the Clear Sky School and had been hailed as invincible on land.

She never would have thought that Tang Chen and the Grand Priest had both loved the same woman—and that Tang Chen had actually won her heart in the end. Bibi Dong found that truly unbelievable.

The Grand Priest's looks were indeed top-tier. Nearly a hundred years old, he still looked like he was in his thirties or forties, and incredibly handsome at that. Yet, even he had lost out in looks to that Tang Chen guy? That was just baffling.

As for the term "double-door fridge" Zhao Ling had used—Bibi Dong didn't understand it at first. But when she read about the "eight-pack abs" and recalled Zhao Ling's muscular physique that she'd seen before, she unconsciously swallowed and felt a slight warmth rush to her nose.

She vaguely understood what "double-door fridge" meant. She had to admit, Zhao Ling's muscular build and those well-defined eight-pack abs were indeed… quite tempting.

Meanwhile, in a hotel somewhere, Ah Yin was snoring in her sleep as the diary had yet again been updated.

She just rolled over and couldn't be bothered to look at the new entries.

She felt completely drained and was too lazy even to get up for breakfast. Whether she would get up for lunch would depend on how well she rested.

So, even faced with newly updated diary entries, she still thought sleep was more important.

At this moment, Liu Erlong was also reading the newly updated content. Her brows furrowed slightly.

She knew who Qian Daoliu was—after all, he was the previous Pope.

But she wasn't so familiar with Tang Chen and could only guess that he was some elder of the Clear Sky School. As for Bo Saixi, she felt that woman was as pitiful as she was.

She herself had been mocked by someone for picking up discarded shoes, while that Bo Saixi was ridiculed for being blind.

And the man Bo Saixi liked, Tang Chen, had apparently lost his mind due to a plot against him. If Bo Saixi ever found that out, wouldn't she be devastated?

And just as Liu Erlong had predicted, far away on Seagod Island, inside the Seagod Temple—

Bo Saixi, with long sea-blue hair and an always noble, elegant, and gentle air about her, now wore a serious expression.

Why had this ethereal notebook labeled "Zhao Ling's Diary Copy" suddenly appeared before her? Could it be that the Sea God had manifested?

Yes—that must be it. Surely the great Sea God had delivered it to her himself, wanting her to see it?

As the Sea God's most devout follower, Bo Saixi immediately linked this strange occurrence to divine revelation.

But she was confused—who was this Zhao Ling person? Why would the Sea God go out of his way to deliver this person's diary to her?

Was there something important in it related to her?

With that thought, she tentatively reached out with a slender finger to tap the diary, but her finger passed right through it.

This puzzled her even more. What was with this diary copy? Why couldn't she touch it if it had appeared right in front of her?

Maybe the diary wasn't meant to be opened by touch?

Thinking this, she mentally tried to open the diary—and sure enough, it flipped open immediately.

At the same time, a deep and magnetic male voice rang out in her ears.

Her eyes instinctively followed the voice as she began reading the diary's latest updates.

"Spirit Hall?" Bo Saixi frowned more deeply. That was supposed to be the most powerful force on the Douluo Continent, right? But it didn't really concern her, did it?

She kept reading… "Qian Daoliu." Of course, she knew that name well—he was one of the only three rank-99 Limit Douluos still alive, known as the "Unrivaled in the Skies."

Immediately, an image of a tall, handsome man who always gave off a pleasant, comfortable aura popped into her mind.

But her expression soon hardened.

Was the diary writer mentally unwell? Sure, Qian Daoliu was handsome—but did that mean she had to like him?

She knew very well that Qian Daoliu was more handsome than Tang Chen—but could you eat beauty for dinner? She just happened to like Tang Chen more.

As for why, she couldn't explain, but the diary mentioned it might be because of Tang Chen's muscular build, which triggered her memory of his physique—one that countless men would envy.

That… did make some sense. But only a little. She swore to the heavens that she, Bo Saixi, was not a shallow woman!

Suppressing her stirred emotions, she kept reading—until she saw the part that claimed she and Tang Chen could never be together, because Tang Chen had been cursed by the Rakshasa God and parasitized by some Blood-Red Nine-Headed Bat King.

Her face changed instantly.

She knew how powerful Tang Chen was—invincible on land—and yet he had fallen to the schemes of a god?

What in the world had happened?

Her heart was now in utter chaos. She desperately wanted to ask the omnipotent Sea God what exactly had happened to Tang Chen.

But she also knew, as the Sea God's earthly spokesperson, that unless it was a truly major event, she could not possibly summon the Sea God to descend…
