Cherreads

Chapter 18 - Chapter 3

Silence filled the room again. It was driving me crazy. I took the first bite of my food. I looked up from my plate. The food was tasty—I had never eaten something tastier than this. It felt like heaven as the soup melted in my mouth. The smoked meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. I took a sip of the juice. It tasted like mango.
