Alpha Pierce", the voice was as cold as the night air, that it sent chills down the girls spine.
"Who's that.. show yourself you bastard...how dare you", he said letting go of the dirt man and taking a step back. He was obviously scared since he has heard about stuffs like this but decided to put on a tough facade, he didn't want his pack members to see him as weak.
A figure emerged slowly from the shadows. The girls took in a sharp breath upon seeing the figure.
"That's the royal of destruction", Hannah whispered, they were still hiding behind the bushes watching what was unfolding before them.
"That's the devil!", one of the men shouted, while others ran into hiding.
"You cowards why are you hiding.. what are you afraid of", Alpha Pierce yelled he was now alone in the middle of the street.
The figure sped and stood in front of him making Peirce move several feet's backwards.
"Who are you", he yelled his heart was beating frantically now and the girls could hear it from their hiding spot.
The figure was in an all black ancient warrior attire with a black staff that had gold and silver engravings on it.
"Royal", the sound came as a whisper.
"It's a woman", whispered Cleo.
She looked goddess like in all her glory. She was the definition of ethereal.
The girls couldn't see her face because of the mask she put on, half her face was covered leaving her lips on full display.
"You can't just come and disrupt what am doing. Don't you have respect , do even know who I am..I can get you killed in seconds", He himself didn't believe his words he knew he was just bluffing but decided to stay firm on the ground.
The woman cocked her head to the side and a had a full blown smirk.
"Then do it", her whisper cut through the night air.
"Uh...um....I", the man stuttered staggering backward.
"Alpha Peirce Martin, first son of Roland Reva Martin, and alpha to blue ridge park", She scoffed. Immediately a black mist started surrounding them . She clicked her tongue "I don't like the sound of that", She said and tapped her staff on the ground, a giant black book appeared in the sky and the pages flipped open, a blank page to be precise and a feather hovered over it and started scribbling down, a name, the alphas full name appeared. Pierce Leonard Martin alpha to the blue ridge park year 172-296.
"172-296", whispered Hannah in shock as she looked at her friends to know if there thinking the same thing "is she saying his...
"Date of birth and day of death", whispered Mari with a nod as she looked back up to the scene.
"So our fate lies in a book huh", whispered Liv.
"The rule is very simple Pierce, if your crimes reaches or goes above seventy percent then I guess...well I don't need to state the obvious do I", the woman smirked.
"This is nonsense, who the hell are you huh..is this some kind of twisted joke...I command you to stop this atrocity at once", Pierce cried, he was glued to the ground by a spell she has casted on him. He knew he was stuck and couldn't move, but he kept struggling.
"Am afraid I have no time for such absurdity", the woman said and tapped her staff again and the book was being scribbled on.
It was as if time stopped and everyone held their breath to see what fate awaits the alpha.

There was a sharp gasp cut through the air among the girls, more like a whisper, it felt as if oxygen was being sucked out.
"No please give me one last chance I beg you", Pierce cried trying free himself from the hold on the ground. "I promise I will repent from my sins"
"That man begged you, but you weren't listening to his pleas, give me a reason why I should listen to yours"
"I...I...I have a family waiting for me at home one of my children she..she's still so little...you wouldn't want to take her father away from her", He stuttered.
"Using your daughter as leverage, he also said the same thing", the woman scoffed "How pathetic. I'm sure Crystal would be happy your gone at least she doesn't have to suffer anymore"
"No please", He begged on his knees "Huh! you fool if you kill me who will take over my pack, they can't survive without me..am their strength!", He shouted.
Smirking the Royal said, "Even if you were alive you still won't make an impact in your pack", sighing she added, "Enough with the chit chat, your wasting away my time. Now you have two options: Die in my hands or get sent to hell first"
The man was in thought for a moment "I choose hell..I don't want to die, I rather be sent there alive than chose death"

The wind became heavy and the whole of mevalda was in black out, the girls could only see because of their supernatural ability.
"What's happening", Liv asked shivering, the night air became really cold and the wind howling.

It was like an earthquake, everywhere was shaking, the ground beneath the woman and the alpha began to have cracks everywhere. One move and you might just fall in, not to mention the red light was emiting from beneath the crack.
"That's lava", Mari gasped upon seeing the fiery hot flames coming through it.
"Look", Hannah pointed to the woman whose giant wings popped out and caused a gust of wind when it fluttered and clapped together.
The wings were magnificent and huge. It wasn't like any other wings the girls have seen before, it was bigger than that of the vampire wings they've read in books. It was taller, larger than the woman itself, the intricate designs of the wings were gold and silver interwoven together it was truly beautiful. She had sharp claws that held a firm grip on her staff.
She looked like a goddess...with a fiery spirit of course.
"Woah... That's amazing", whispered Liv.
"Gorgeous", Hannah corrected.
"She's so cool", Cleo whispered.
"It's time to eat", she whispered and then voices were heard around.
"His soul, his soul...his soul", the voices kept on chanting as burned hands came out from the cracks and started latching themselves on Pierce.
"It smells so good....am so hungry", the voices kept on growing louder.
"No", He had cried out as they started tearing through his skin, flesh and bone piece by piece.
His screams were all over the place but it was met with deaf ears as the chanting continued, Hannah covered Liv's eyes from the ugly sight. It was too painful to watch but they still did.
When it was all over the cracks closed back and the wind stopped howling and night deaf silent.
"Mehn I would have chosen death", said Cleo making the girls turn to stare at her
"Seriously Cleo", whispered Mari
"What!, am just saying", Cleo shrugged.
"You over there, behind the tree"
The girls looked over and saw the bulky man with long beard pointing at himself.
"Me", the man murmured confused and scared shitless. Pretty sure he shit himself.
"Tell the members of blue ridge pack there new alpha is Lucas Kurt", the woman said
"Yes ma'am... I mean miss", he said in hurry and ran away with the rest of his mates into the woods.
There was no one around now except for the girls.
"And you four...tell no one of this", the woman said not looking at them.
The light came back on and the woman was no were to be seen, the street was back to normal like as if nothing ever happened.
"That was such an uncanny encounter", Cleo said and they all agreed.
Mari laughed causing her friends to stare at her weirdly "She knew. She literally knew we were here all along"
"I guess nothing can get pass a royal", Hannah said smiling.
"Yeah and she's so cool and all badass" Liv said in a dream like state.
"Come on let's head home, it's a school night", Mari said standing up and dusting herself.
"Shit I forgot I had a pop quiz on Biology tomorrow", whined Hannah.
"Well you still have two hours before school starts", Cleo pointed out gaining a glare from Hannah.
