"Ok class what happens when you add hydrogen to sulphur", asked Mrs Harper making everyone to groan.
Immediately the bell was heard causing everyone to pack their things in a hurry and rush out of the classroom.
"Oh, I guess I'll see you guys next week", the teacher said dropping the marker to sit on her chair with a sigh.
"I guess I will see you guys when I see you", Ari said standing up, she shared classes with Cleo and Liv.
"Greet Alex for us", Cleo said. It was another day again that Alex refused to grace the school with her presence.
"Will do, see ya"
"I enjoyed the class Mrs Harper, have a lovely day", said Arielle on her way out.
"How is she so perfect", asked Cleo gawking at Ari's retreating figure.
"Dunno", said Liv licking a lollipop pop.
"You've been licking that thing over an hour now"
"No I've not, plus is not my fault it doesn't want to reduce"
"That's because you keep regrowing it"
"No I don't ", Cleo then smacked the lollipop out her hand to the floor.
"What... What the hell Cleo I was still licking that", Liv whined.
"Yeah I know for the past hour"
"Your so annoying", said Liv with a pout and was about to walk out of the classroom but Cleo dragged her back with her backpack.
"Where do you think your going"
"Huh..! Let go of me"
"Were meeting up with Hannah and Mari in the library today"
"Oh"

"So what do we have", asked Cleo upon reaching the desk they were sitting at in the library. They were the only ones in the library and they had also managed to bribe Mrs Evans to leave the library in their care.
"Have you guys been listening to the supernatural news lately", asked Mari.
"About the disappearance", asked Liv to which Mari nodded.
"Yeah...the numbers just keeps increasing", said Mari.
"What do you think", Cleo asked
"Is a royal obviously", she replied.
"What are we going to do about it then", Hannah said.
"I've a plan but am not sure if you girls will agree", Mari said and looked each of them in the eye and they all gave a go ahead nod.
"Well I did some research last night and the locals at Mevalda said they usually start hearing the screams at past midnight and also during that period of time there is a black out"
"That's scary", whispered Liv.
"Yeah", Cleo agreed.
"What are you then trying to suggest Mari", asked Hannah.
Sighing Mari said "I was thinking if maybe we could go down to the Mevalda, you know to the areas where crimes are rampant and said people around that area are part of the supernatural realm, cause according to my research the people who are disappearing are all supernatural"
There was silence, a thoughtful one and everyone pondered the thought in their mind.
"What if it doesn't go according to plan and maybe..just maybe we get caught then what do we do", asked Liv.
"Where just going to watch..
"Spy you mean", Cleo said cutting Mari gaining a glare.
"What if that royal doesn't like being spyed on", asked Hannah.
"No one likes being spied on", Cleo pointed out gaining a shrug from Hannah.
"Then we use the invisibility spell, block out our magic and scent completely", Mari said. Hesitantly she stretched out her hand and then asked "so..are you guys in"
"I'm in for the thrill", said Hannah placing her hand.
"Well I got nothing to do tonight so yeah..why not", said Cleo placing her hand on top of Hannah's.
"I don't want to be left out from the fun, now do I", Liv said joining in causing everyone to chuckle.
"Ok then. The only problem is that the locals aren't friendly with new faces", said Mari.
"Oh.....well there's no harm in trying", said Liv with a shrug.

It was past midnight 1:35Am per se and everywhere was eeriely silent. No sound was heard except for the occasional cricket noise, owl hoots and the sound of waves crashing against the shore could be heard too despite it being at the outskirt of the city. But that was at the normal side of town while on the other hand where illegal activities just happened to be clearly active at night.
They were so many creatures in that area from the normal fairy to witches, werewolf's, elf's , dwarfs, and so on. Mevalda they called it.
Mevalda was a place in Crescent fall were supernaturals could be themselves without being scared a human might see them. It was well hidden from the outside world, you could say it was located in the middle of the woods.
The only human population was a small village nearby who bore the same name as them. They had no idea of the creatures beside them, cause of a spell boundary was put in place. So when a human looks towards that side all they see are trees upon trees which was scary on sight.
"Gawd this place is in a mess, how do people live here", said Hannah coughing from the smoke in the air. They all covered themselves with a black long cloak and a black scarf was tied around their nose.
"This place is too rowdy, I doubt a royal would grace their presence here", said Liv.
"True. Plus if they hear screams sometimes at night why are they still going on about with their activities like as if nothing ever happened", asked Cleo. "This is literally one in the morning and the village is still bustling with energy", she added looking round the placed.
"They admired the scenery for a few seconds then continued with there journey into the village
The people of mevalda gave them weird looks and not the creepy kind.
"What if they've never heard such screams", Mari voiced out.
"What do you mean", whispered Hannah, she felt uncomfortable with the stares they were receiving.
It wasn't because of there dressing stood out since that's basically the normal dressing of mevalda people. No, far from it. It was like they could sense the shift in energy as if they could tell the difference between their own people and foreigners.
"The person who told me this information is an old married couple and they live up on that hill", she pointed upward towards the end of the street there was a hill and a house could be faintly seen on top of it.
"And from what I vividly recall from last night when I visted, there is an abandoned road that no vehicle passes through", added Mari.
Smacking her head "Of course why didn't we think of it earlier, royals can't obviously show their identity in the mist of people to protect the mysterious image reputation they uphold", said Hannah.
"True and the couple can see any activity going on on that street through their window", said Mari.
"Let's go check it out then", Cleo said already trekking down to the hill side and the girls looked at each and hurriedly followed after her.

They were now hiding behind a bush waiting. They already covered themselves with an invisibility spell, hid there scent and also kept their breadth still and waited.
They waited and waited for what felt like an eternity.
"We've been hiding here for over an hour now", Liv quietly whined.
"Half an hour", Hannah said pointedly.
"Feels like an hour", Liv murmured.
"Guys shhh...I hear something", said Mari causing them to abruptly stay still and surprisingly enough they heard a footstep well footsteps.
Cleo looked up and saw a group of men with teenage boys around their age, they smelt werewolf and from the same pack. They wore little to no clothing like as if some of them just transformed back to their human form and all gathered round a man who was kneeling trying to catch his breadth, looks like he was running but eventually got caught .
A maniacal laugh pierced the night air, a man who looks to be in his forty with a scar on his cheek that made him look scary and rouge.
He smelt of power and the girls assumed him to be the alpha since it obviously looks like he was the leader of the group.
"Please I beg you..spare my life, I have children waiting for me at home, their mother is sick they have no one to take care of them", the man on the floor who was covered in dirt with tattered cloth cried out.
"You should have thought of that when you decided to cross me", the alpha sneered and kicked the dirt man on his ribs making him let out a loud cry.
"Please...I...beg you", the man wheezed out.
"Oh shut up, you should not have stolen from the person who feeds you if you knew what awaits you....I bet you taught you were so smart that you wouldn't get caught huh.... But instead you just proved to be a bigger fool", said a huge man with long beard causing the rest of the men to laugh.
"I just wanted money to pay off medical bills, I promise to repay you before the ending of the month", the man wheezed out, his breathing already laboured. He had claw marks and fleshy injuries all over his body.
"I don't want your filthy repayment, you crossed me you crossed me", said the alpha walking up to the man who started crawling backwards weakly.
"Please... please...just give me one last chance", the man cried.
"Guys we need to go help him", Liv said about to leap out to help but Hannah held her back.
"We can't Liv, there are so many of them against four of us, who's to say if we reach the man he will still be alive"
"But...", Liv said tears streaming down her eyes. She knew what Hannah said was true but she couldn't just watch the poor man die like that.
"Hannah is right Liv", Mari said placing a hand on Liv's shoulder who nodded.
They could still here the mans pleas for mercy as the alpha just stalked towards him with a crooked smile, he looked sick, beastly even. I mean he is half beast.
"Don't worry, I will send your love to your children and wife, am sure they will be happy to know that their father was such a failure", the alpha sneered and grabbed the man by the neck, he retracted his nails and was about to claw out the man's heart but a voice was heard not just any regular voice. A voice as cold and shrill as the night caught through the air making everywhere to stand still like that of the graveyard.
