In the Ghost Zone, Danny said to Chelsea, "Let's go exploring today. There's this one place I've been meaning to check out."
"Alright," Chelsea said. "Lead the way."
They meandered for a long time, talking about little things that didn't matter. For a while, nothing interesting popped up. It was all just the same floating islands and doors they were used to. Then…
"What's that?" Chelsea asked, pointing to the right. A group of white spheres crowded on an island a way off. A pulsing spire stood in the middle.
Danny turned to look. "I don't know." He pulled out a hand-drawn map and marked the island. "Let's get a closer look."
As they neared, Chelsea realized what they flew toward. "Uh," she uttered, "do you see what I see?"
"If you see giant eyeballs, then yes," Danny answered and shivered. "What do you think they're doing?"
"I don't care," Chelsea said, shivering also. "They're creepy. Let's get out of here."
"Not yet," Danny said.
"Seriously?" Chelsea complained, but continued to follow him.
When they were close, the eyeballs all turned to stare at them. Without a face around them, Chelsea couldn't tell their expression. They must have been angry, though, because laser beams shot toward her and Danny.
"Whoa!" Chelsea said, dodging.
"Okay, we can go now," Danny said hurriedly. He raised a shield, and they fled. However, the eyes followed them.
"What do we do now?" Chelsea yelled. She shot ectoblasts back at the eyeballs.
"There are too many to fight!" Danny said. "We have to get out of here!"
They dodged beams and shot blasts all through the Ghost Zone. Eventually, they returned to familiar territory.
"I think Frostbite is near here," Danny shouted over the noise. "He should be able to help. Yes! There's the Far Frozen!"
They flew toward a set of icy islands. The mountains looked like a good place to hide from the eyeballs. Danny led Chelsea to the islands, and the eyeballs backed off.
"Phew!" Chelsea said. "Guess they don't like the Far Frozen."
"I wonder why they followed us all the way here," Danny said.
"Maybe they were protecting something," Chelsea suggested. "I think we should stay away from their place."
"Yeah, good plan," Danny agreed. "C'mon. I want you to meet Frostbite while we're here."
