Chapter 34 - Episode 33: The Shattered Echoes

The Battlefield – The Heart of the Storm

The wind howled around them, shaking the trees, ripping apart the earth. Lengaza, eyes burning with the weight of his choices, stood at the center of it all. Blood poured from his wounds, but the fire in his chest didn't fade. He was alive, more alive than ever.

But Subject Six was the one pulling the strings now.

Her dark energy swirled like a living nightmare around the three of them. Raya, standing frozen, was only an echo of the power that was about to consume everything.

"You can't stop what's already been set in motion," Subject Six's voice rang out, cold and calculating. "Lengaza, you were never the end. You were just the beginning."

Lengaza looked at her, his breath ragged. "What do you mean? What is this really about?"

Flashback: The Hidden Truth

Inside the secret lab, years before, Subject Six watched with detached eyes as her creation—Lengaza—was born. A weapon, a tool, something to use for her own purposes.

"Is it working?" she'd asked, watching the flickering lights as machines hummed around her.

A voice came from the shadows.

"It will. But remember, once it's unleashed, there's no going back."

Subject Six's smile was cold. She had never intended to control Lengaza. He was meant to be a catalyst—something far more dangerous.

Present – The Storm Reaches Its Peak

Lengaza felt it—everything coming to a head. The ground beneath his feet cracked open. A final confrontation was imminent, but this was no longer about just survival. This was about rewriting everything.

Raya looked at him, trembling. "This... this is your fault. You created this destruction."

Lengaza swallowed hard, his mind racing. "I never asked for this. I was just a soldier!"

Subject Six's Truth Unleashed

With a single motion, Subject Six extended her hand, and a surge of energy shot into the sky—transforming the air into a boiling tempest.

"This isn't your battle anymore, Lengaza," she whispered, her eyes dark with the weight of her decision. "This is mine."

The storm split open, and dark memories poured out—visions of things long buried. Memories of the countless experiments, the lives lost, the cold, methodical decisions.

"You're more than just a weapon," Subject Six continued. "You were meant to become me."

Lengaza's Final Decision

Lengaza's heart raced, but something inside him snapped. He wasn't a puppet, not anymore.

With a roar, he released all his power. His energy exploded outward like a bomb, a wave of pure, raw force.

"I'll decide my fate," he shouted, his voice reverberating through the storm. "I won't be your creation anymore."

As his power collided with the force of Subject Six, the world around them shattered.

The Aftermath – The World Remade

The storm subsided.

Lengaza stood, breathing heavily, his body scorched. Subject Six had vanished, consumed by the very energy she had unleashed. But the world... the world had changed.

Raya fell to her knees, her hands trembling. "What did we just do?"

Lengaza turned to her, his face pale but determined. "We ended it. But there's no going back. Not for us."
