Chapter 239 - Chapter 239: Traditional Medicine Association

After comforting Kate,

John headed to the Feazer Medical Clinic.

There weren't many patients that day. Most of them came for prescriptions of traditional medicine from Holbrook. Only two or three came for acupuncture. So, once the needling was done, Tracy finally had a chance to relax.

John watched her quietly.

In terms of figure, Tracy was still unmatched.

Her body was voluptuous without being excessive—plump in all the right places. Even when she wasn't trying, her curves formed a perfect S-shape.

Her waist was slender and supple, her chest full and eye-catching. After a moment's thought, John realized—he hadn't "taught" her how to play billiards in a while.

So...

Taking advantage of the lull in clinic activity, he called Tracy into the acupuncture room and said warmly,

"Tracy, I think you've already memorized all the acupuncture techniques I've taught you. Come on, I'll show you a new one today."

Hearing this, Tracy blushed faintly. Her beautiful, watery eyes flicked toward him with a knowing glance.

Of course she knew what this little devil was up to.

Back when John had taught her acupuncture, he always used that excuse to get a little closer.

He'd say that she'd understand the depth, force, and angle better if he guided her hands personally.

That so-called "hand-to-hand teaching" was basically just like showing a girl how to play billiards—arms wrapped around her slender waist from behind, hands reaching forward to guide hers.

And Tracy, with a figure that could make hearts race—whenever she bent down…

Even though she saw through his little schemes, she didn't resist.

She'd flush red and cooperate obediently every time.

But just as their "lesson" was heating up—Holbrook suddenly barged in.

"Master—oh! I mean, go ahead with your lesson. I'll talk to you later."

The Master of Traditional Medicine made a tactical retreat from the room.

Tch. Young people these days...

He sighed inwardly, thinking his own ways were outdated. From now on, he should learn some modern flirting skills from his "masters."

Silence filled the acupuncture room.

Both John and Tracy were embarrassed.

Tracy quickly slipped out of his arms, cheeks crimson.

"It's all your fault, you little brat! Now Mr. Davis has the wrong idea!"

John gave an awkward laugh and walked out of the room.

As he stepped into the hallway, Holbrook grinned and winked.

"That fast, Master?"

John's face turned black.

"What nonsense are you spouting? I was just teaching my sister acupuncture! Dirty old man. Go worry about your own life."

"Yes, yes, you're absolutely right," Holbrook said with mock solemnity.

"So what did you come in for?"

"Oh! Right." Holbrook straightened.

"The president of the Traditional Medicine Association will be visiting Feazer Medical Clinic tomorrow. He wants to meet New York's 'Magic Doctor'—that's you, of course."

Holbrook himself was a respected Master of Traditional Medicine, a prominent figure in New York's traditional medicine circles, and also a member of the Traditional Medicine Association of the U.S.

Now that the name "Magic Doctor of New York" had started to spread far and wide, the association naturally had to take note—especially of someone influential enough to make Holbrook call him master.

"Traditional Medicine Association…" John muttered, rubbing his chin.

After a moment's thought, he said,

"You know I'm not a fan of fame and fanfare. Let's do this—when they come, tell them my sister is your master instead."

One "Magic Doctor of New York" was enough.

And given Tracy's current medical skills, she deserved that title.

Holbrook had no objections to this suggestion.

However, Tracy did.

"Don't talk nonsense, John. They're coming for you, not me. How can I take your place? Besides, I don't want to deal with those people either."

She was happy just quietly learning acupuncture. She couldn't care less about associations or titles.

John chuckled.

"Sister, don't say that. The president of the Traditional Medicine Association is bound to be a master in his own right. If he can share even a bit of insight, it'll benefit you greatly."

He couldn't stand seeing a genius like Tracy stay in the shadows.

This visit was the perfect chance to introduce Tracy Linch to the world.

Holbrook agreed.

"Master is right. Tomorrow, not just the president—there will be several big names in the field of traditional medicine. Like Francisco Lebron from the Earth-Filling Sect, Tamas Willows of the Mild-Disease Sect, Vincent Zarack of the Fire-God Sect, and Jasper Sheen—the Master of Acupuncture."

"Wait—Jasper Sheen is coming?"

Tracy, who had been about to refuse, suddenly perked up.

She had heard of Jasper Sheen back when she first entered the industry—he was the most renowned Master of Acupuncture in the U.S.

But she'd never had the chance to meet him.

Now he was coming here?

Holbrook nodded.

"Just like me, he's a member of the Traditional Medicine Association. When they heard I had a master, they all got curious and wanted to see for themselves."

Tracy hesitated for a moment, then softly said,

"Alright, I'll meet them tomorrow. But John—you have to come with me."

"Of course I'll be with you, my dear sister," John replied with a smile.
