One of her three main Evil Eye abilities, the Weakening Evil Eye, directly reduced a target's HP, Attack, Defense, and MP.
The exact amount depended on the target's Heresy Resistance and Kumoko's own Heresy Magic level. Kumoko's Heresy Magic level wasn't low anymore, but these spiders also had decent Heresy Resistance.
This was because almost all spiders grew up by cannibalizing their siblings, meaning nearly every one of them possessed the [Heresy Magic] skill, which came with some inherent resistance.
Of course, Heresy Resistance and Heresy Nullification were two completely different things. No matter how high your resistance, it couldn't compare to outright nullification.
The large spider monsters charging at her were fierce, but under the effect of her Evil Eye, they suddenly felt their limbs ache and their spirits dwindle, as if their bodies had been completely drained. The Evil Eye's effect was potent; the spiders' menacing aura instantly deflated.
After weakening the front line of large spiders, Kumoko immediately followed up with a large-scale dark magic spell [Hades]!
This was a tactical-grade dark magic, comparable in scale to the Administrator's [Gravitational Singularity].

From the moment she was born, she held no expectations of familial affection, especially after witnessing the Queen Taratect casually swallow her own newborn offspring like they were sunflower seeds.
Besides, her so-called brothers and sisters? Almost every single one of them possessed the [Kin Eater] title. That meant each of them had reached their current level by killing and devouring their own kind, trampling over their siblings. So, Kumoko felt no need to hold back.
"All of you can go down and keep Elliot company in the afterlife!"
The power of [Hades] was undeniable. After the Gate of the Underworld opened, their HP began to plummet rapidly. The slightly weaker ones died on the spot, transforming into EXP for Kumoko.

Under Kumoko's relentless assault, the spider army was quickly routed. Their minds were linked to the Queen Taratect.
Although they had their own consciousness, they couldn't resist the Queen's commands. So, even though they could see Kumoko was incredibly ferocious, not a single spider dared to retreat.
Battered by the massive damage from [Hades], the large spider monsters were all at critical health, yet they still charged recklessly towards Kumoko.
But such suicidal attacks were useless against her now. Soon, they were all ensnared in her webs, then dropped into the boiling lava to be deep-fried. Once golden brown, Kumoko feasted on them.
"Burp~"
"So this is what large spider monsters taste like. Not as good as catfish," she mused.
All her siblings were now neatly digested. Her level had climbed to 28. She remembered reaching Level 28 in the original story only after defeating Earth Dragon Araba.
This time, she reached it thanks to the EXP provided by her "dear" brothers and sisters.
"Ah... so noisy."
"Mom's probably furious." Kumoko, full and satisfied, used a leftover spider leg as a toothpick, then casually tossed it into the lava.
Through their soul connection, the Queen Taratect was screaming at her.
Any other monster wouldn't understand what the Queen was saying. But this was a bloodline-based mental communication; Kumoko could clearly tell her mother was threatening her. If she didn't return to the Queen's side, there would be consequences.
But the current Kumoko had absolutely no intention of going back. The Queen had attacked her partner; Kumoko already considered the Queen an enemy.
Why would she ever work for her? Besides, her three "department heads" (Parallel Minds) were still wreaking havoc in the Queen's soul.
The Queen Taratect, being a Level 89 behemoth, had an incredibly resilient soul. Her Parallel Minds had been rampaging for seven or eight days, yet they had only managed to devour about a tenth of it.
The Queen was currently in a [Weakened] state, but her actual power was still far beyond what Kumoko could handle directly.
So, she could only engage in guerrilla warfare, not a head-on confrontation.
Thanks to [Heresy Nullification], the Queen couldn't do anything about Kumoko's Parallel Minds attacking her soul; she could only endure it.
Kumoko felt a bit smug. "Now that I've evolved into Shinigami's Shadow, my Godspeed is LV 10, and I have Space Magic. Mom definitely can't catch my main body now. As long as I stick to hit-and-run tactics, she can't do anything to me."
Just as Kumoko was thinking everything was going well... a sudden, overwhelming sense of impending doom washed over her.
The entire Elroe Labyrinth began to shake violently, as if some colossal monster had started to move. The tremors were so intense, not even Araba could cause something like this.
Could it be...?
She looked back up. Chunks of rock and dirt began to fall from the thick ceiling far above. Then, the normally greyish rock began to glow an ominous, burning red and crack.
Before long, a horrifyingly massive hole, hundreds of meters in diameter, tore open in the ceiling of the Elroe Labyrinth.
Simultaneously, an extremely thick beam of black energy poured down from the abyss-like opening. Kumoko felt an immense, terrifying presence emanating from that dark hole.
Then, something even more terrifying happened. A gigantic spider monster began to emerge from the hole. And this colossal creature... was none other than Kumoko's mother! The Queen Taratect!
The shock this caused Kumoko was immeasurable. The first thing she saw when she hatched was this very monster. An instinctive, primal fear had been born in her heart that day, spreading to every fiber of her being.
And now, the Queen was even transmitting a message directly to her mind.
"KILL... YOU!"
That's right. The Queen Taratect was furious. Kumoko had killed so many of her children, her soul was still being constantly gnawed at, and Kumoko completely defied her commands. So, she was incredibly enraged and had decided to come personally.
To say Kumoko wasn't scared by this undisguised killing intent would be a lie. But she wasn't completely overwhelmed by fear either. Within seconds, a mental conference began in her head.
Body Brain:Yo, yo, yo! Main Body, what did you DO to make Mom this angry?! When she gets mad, her soul feels like an earthquake!
Main Body:Uh... nothing much. Just ate all the brothers and sisters she sent to catch me.
Magic Brain (Thumbs Up):Nice!
Information Brain:Let's not focus on that right now. Even though you have Heresy Nullification, Immortality, and Perseverance, allowing us to attack Mom's soul while being invincible to backlash, your Main Body is different. If your Main Body gets caught, Mom has way too many ways to deal with you.
Then, Information Brain displayed the Queen Taratect's stats on their shared mental screen.
