Without hesitation,, Marco chose the desert biome as his spawn point. A blue light covered his entire body before teleporting him to a separate space. There he saw a woman who looked like Ganymede but her hairstyle and face cut was different. She had short white hair and blue eyes, while Ganymede had long white hair. The girl introduced herself.
" I am Callisto. I exist to help you build your character. This is your status window. You have 10 unallocated stat points. Choose how you want to allocate them." Said the mysterious girl.
The status window had Marco's name, age and class on top. His class was noted as ??? Probably because he hasn't chosen one yet. Below that were 10 parameters known as stats.
STR represents strength. DEX represents dexterity or agility, VIT represents health, DEF represents defence, END represents endurance or stamina, PER represents perception or senses, INT represents intelligence or magic damage, WIS represents wisdom or mana capacity, LUC represents luck and CHA represents charisma.
Each of these stats was on 10, and there was a column for unallocated stat points, which was also on 10. Marco knew that the weather in the desert was extremely hot, and he would need some points on endurance to find a safe place. But he also knew that he could only level up by killing monsters, and he needed to have stats to kill the monsters.
Marco remembers all the attack patterns of the monsters but he needs to be fast enough to dodge them. So he went all in on dexterity. " Choose your Class. Along with the old classes we have shown you mercy and given you a chance to get a unique class. This class will depend on the lifestyle you have lived until now " said Callisto.
A unique class doesn't mean it is a good class. Especially since this was made from the lifestyle of a deadbeat gamer. That is also what Marco thought until he saw his unique class.
UNIQUE CLASS: Undying survivor
PASSIVE SKILL: Increase in the proficiency of all sub-classes is increased by 10 times
CLASS EFFECT: 1) All stats will increase by one every level up and the player will gain 10 unallocated stat points each level up
2) The player will have 2 free sub-class slots available at level 1, and the player will gain 1 sub-class slot every 5 levels.
3) The player will have a spatial inventory space which can hold up to 10 items.
UNIQUE SKILL: UNDYING WARRIOR
The player can survive any fatal hit with one health and be invincible for 10 seconds.
Cooldown: 24 hours.
Although others might think this class is overpowered, this class is actually just average. Each class will gain 10 unallocated stat points when they level up but they also gain more stat points depending on their class. For example, a common mage will gain 2 stats of intelligence and wisdom every time they level up, and they will gain 1 of every other stats.
Some classes also gain 3 stats at every level. So that effect is actually a disadvantage. The good news is actually not the unique skill. The unique skill is ok, too, but the main thing is that every player can only have 2 subclasses. One sub-class slot unlocks at level 20 and another at level 50.
There are a lot of subclasses in Dungeons and Thrones making infinite ways to build a character. But I can gain sub-class slots every 5 levels, and paired with a 10 times increase in proficiency, I will be this world's best support character. It makes sense since this class is not a fighter class. The strong ones are not the ones who stay alive till the end. Only the mysterious cowards who have a lot of secrets survive on a battlefield. This class is mainly built for survival and I will take it.
Proficiency is something all skills and subclasses have. The more you use a skill, the more its proficiency increases and the skill will level up after reaching a threshold. Increasing proficiency is extremely hard but Marco was only able to beat the Angel of Death with all of his skills at level 100. This just shows how much he grinded this game.
" You have chosen UNDYING SURVIVOR as your Main class. Would you like to choose your subclasses now or later?" Asked Callisto. Marco replied, " I want Explorer and Dissecter as my subclasses". " You will be teleported to your designated biome. I personally hope humanity will perish, but I wish you good luck," said Callisto. As Marco was teleporting, he wanted to ask why they hate humans, but before he could finish his question, he was teleported away.
The human was teleported to his biome with no one else left except Callisto. " Why I hate humans you ask? What a silly question. Why must I love some ungrateful beings?" Grinned Callisto. Her anger caused everything around her to float and the room turned from blue to red before she stopped. " Tch, I should go tend to other humans so I can finish my job fast ". Said Callisto and teleported away.
A black figure whose presence was not detected by Callisto was smiling after Callisto left. "How interesting," said the figure before becoming a puddle of black shadow and disappearing from the area.
Now Marco is in the middle of a desert with basic clothes covering him. Choosing a class and sub-class will give you starter equipment and tools/weapons related to the class. Alas, a survivor can only get you a single set of basic clothes and a water pouch.
But an explorer sub-class gives the player an explorer's backpack, an empty map and a compass. While the Dissecter subclass gives the player a Rare Dissecting dagger. This dagger has a special effect but we will talk about it later.
Now it's time to find ruins before nightfall. Said Marco before he departed North. It is always best to travel North or South in Dungeons and Thrones not because there is a special effect. Going in either of these directions would mean that the sun will not come in front of you at any point in time. This Sh**ty game has some mechanic called as blinding.
If you walk in the direction of the sun for 10 or more minutes, there is a 10 per cent chance of blindness for 1 minute. Although it is for one minute, getting this effect during battle leads to inevitable death.
As Marco walked in the scorching sand, he came across a cactus. He thought about getting a cactus fruit once he became strong enough. Marco drank the water in his water pouch and cut open the cactus with a Dissecter knife.
Cactuses have water inside them so the player doesn't die out of thirst in the desert. Marco filled his water pouch and started walking. But this time he was on guard. Because nothing is free in Dungeons and Thrones
Sure enough, there was some movement in the sand and 3 giant scorpions came out of the ground. Each of them had wording on top of their head which said LEVEL 3.
