Gregory continued staring at the induced comatose form of Jessica for several more minutes.
Not because he was a pervert, though he did enjoy the site of her body, but because he was hoping the way he had devised to cleanse her of Hydra's brainwashing would work.
So he could not only hopefully get her on his side, but also give her a chance to live at least a semi-normal life.
Well only time would tell on both regards.
Turning away from Jessica finally Gregory returned to his chair in front of Athena computer screens.
"Athena, are we still on track?" He asked his AI companion.
[Yes Gregory, we are. Hydra still believes Jessica is dead due to the false trail we have laid and I am making sure it stays that way. The plans for the neural cleanser are coming along smoothly. Finally the paperwork for the island is finally approved and I have already begin purchasing everything you request and some items I'm certain you will need.] Athena typed.
Referring to the three most important tasks Gregory had her working on at the moment.
The first of which was making sure Hydra, specifically Otto Vermis faction, believed that Jessica was dead.
Consdering all the work Gregory and Athena put into making sure it would be believable.
Such as laying the blame of her death on a Hydra faction associated with S.H.I.E.L.D.
Gregory having decided to use Hydra's selfish and mistrustful ways against them.
One of the first steps in laying the ground work for their eventual downfall.
Second, would be a device Gregory had created using data from Hydra, the true S.H.I.E.L.D., and several other government and private agencies and organizations, Athena had acquired, in regards to brainwashing and the mental influencing of individuals, that would cleanse the brainwashing from Jessica, and anyone else he came across that might require it, he has chosen to call the neural cleanser.
A solution to the problem until he made an ally of a telepath he could truly trust.
If he found one such individual.
Meanwhile the third task Athena made reference to would be an island in the Atlantic Gregory had purchased, using his funds, that would be not only the future headquarters for the company he was creating, which he would name Stark Global Solutions like his Ultimate counterpart, but also the place for any and all of his future operations.
A place he has already named.
Innovation Island.
Also known as I-Island for short.
Gregory having taken the name for his island from the same one featured in one of his favorite manga in his previous life known as My Hero Academia.
And just like the I-Island in MHA Gregory want to make his a shining beacon of advancement for the entire world.
"Excellent." Gregory replied.
He then pulled up the schematics for the neural cleanser, which took the form of a metallic headband, as well as the data from the analysis he was conducting on a sample of Jessica's blood, on the left computer screen and began working on them.
While Athena conducted her own work using the two others.
The inventor and creator working in tandem.
Which they did in the same place for the next four months.
While also monitoring Jessica, and everything else they had an eye on.
Until Athena informed Gregory that I-Island was ready for him to move to.
So with that he used his funds and got their move underway.

As the plane he was on approached I-Island Gregory couldn't help but marvel at it through the window of the cargo plane he was on.

It was built exactly as he had commissioned it to be.
And it was beautiful.
The eldest Stark twin continued admiring his creation until his cargo plane landed.
When it did he payed the pilot a thousand extra dollars, even though he has already despoited quite a large sum into the man's bank account, and then went on his way.
Wheeling Jessica off the plane with him.
Having finally brought her to the island.
Moving through the island facilities he wheeled Jessica to a secure room in medical wing of the main building.
Gregory then headed straight for the server room.
Where Athena was located.
Once he did he connected her directly to the island network.
"There we go. Isn't that better girl?" He asked his creation. Whom Gregory had come to think of as a little sister he never had.

"Yes, it is. Thank you creator?" Athena mused.
Astounded that she was now speaking with a voice instead of just typing out her words on a screen.
"Surprised? Yeah, I'm sure you are. But I felt it was time you had your own voice Athena. So, what do you think?" Gregory asked.
Wondering what Athena thought of the voice Gregory had created and installed for her in the I-Island systems.
Making her sound exactly like EDI from Mass Effect in his previous life.
"It is wonderful and yet also strange. Either way, thank you Greg." Athena replied.
"Any time. Now, time to get to work." Greg spoke.
He then headed off to what would be his personal lab on the island.

Where after arrival he pulled up the schematics for the neural cleanser. Which now that he was on Innovation Island, away from any prying eyes, including Otto Vermis Hydra faction that was still keeping tabs on him, he was finally going to build.
To cure Jessica of her brainwashing.
Extremely confident it would work.
But first.
"Athena, are all island defenses operational?" Gregory asked.
Since he didn't want any uninvited guests.
"Yes Greg, they are." Athena replied.
"Good." He said.
Gregory then freely got to work.
His hands and minds working some Stark magic.
Until several hours later the first fully functioning neural cleanser was completed.
"Okay. Time for the moment of truth." Greg said.
Neutral cleanser in his hands he headed back to the medical wing and entered the secure room he had placed Jessica in earlier.
"Athena, activate containment protocol one." Gregory spoke.
"Yes." Athena replied.
She then locked down the room Gregory and Jessica were in as per his instructions.
Since he wanted to be extra prepared in case anything went wrong.
That done Gregory slipped the neural cleanser over Jessica head and then activated the device.
Which would directly interface with Jessica brain and remove any subliminal or unconscious implanted conditioning or thoughts, but leave her memories entirely intact.
Since Gregory didn't want to erase them.
No, he wanted Jessica to know what she had done while under mental control.
Which might seem cruel but it wasn't.
Since Gregory wanted people in the same situation as Bucky to face what that had done and move forward from it.
He also didn't want them to have a mental breakdown if their past actions were ever revealed to them by anyone else.
Waiting silently Gregory waited for the neural cleanser to finish its job.
Then once it has, indicated by the green light now glowing on the device, he removed it from Jessica head.
He then also turned off the gas keeping her in the induced coma and removed her mask.
Where a few minutes afterwards her eyes fluttered open and when they did she immediately tried to jump up from her bed.
Though she couldn't.
Due to the Adamantium cuffs Gregory has fashioned and secured around Jessica wrists some months ago.
The Adamantium costing him a pretty penny on the black market.
But it was worth it.
Jessica continued to struggle for several minutes until finally she calmed down.
Tears beginning to stream down her eyes.
"Oh God, what have I done?!" She cried in anguish.
Gregory now knowing his neural cleanser worked without a doubt, and that Jessica had a lot of work ahead of her.
But since he had put her into this situation Gregory would be right there by her side.
Since he's not that much of an asshole.
