Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Winged Truth and the Battle for the Axe

The wind howled outside as Dev sat silently, his shoulder freshly bandaged. Virendra Singh, his father's old friend and a high-ranking officer, looked at him gravely.

"Dev," he said slowly, "you don't even realize how close you came to death."

Dev looked confused. "It was just a Sura, right? I mean... strong, sura. But I defeated him."

Virendra turned to his desk, opened a hidden drawer, and pulled out a red-inked classified file labeled: "SURA RANK SYSTEM".

"Listen carefully," he began, flipping the pages, revealing illustrations of humanoid creatures with wings of different colors.

SURA RANKING SYSTEM:

Warrior Class - White Wings - The lowest rank. Dangerous, but manageable with training. Can Achive at least level 6 only

Marcus Class - Grey Wings - Smarter, faster, and often in squads. They can Achive only level 10 But very Hard

Duke Class - Blue Wings - Advanced. Capable of commanding Marcus and Warrior-level Suras. Can achive Easily Level 10 and more then level 10 Are possible for them

Noble Class - Purple Wings - rare. Possess high intelligence and mystical energy control. Can Achive level 15+ But it is Hard

King Class - Black Wings with Crimson Veins - The strongest. Appear once in a century. Can Achive Level 20 easily King Child have potential to be a king class

"Each Sura has a Power Level," Virendra continued. "Only the strong can cross these thresholds:

Level 10: Only Dukes and above survive here.

Level 15+: Only Nobles and Kings can handle this.

These aren't just monsters... they're strategic, ancient beings. They look human, but their wings are their mark."

Dev sat stunned.

Virendra leaned in. "You fought a Duke, Dev. I saw the footage. Those wings were blue. He was likely a Level 8 Duke. Injured, yes. But if he wasn't? You'd be dead."

And I Think We Didn't Know More About Sura's Level This Is Just a Raw Information

Dev clenched his fist.

"You're lucky," Virendra said. "But next time? Stay away. Until you go to more advanced planets beyond Titan and master higher techniques, don't engage the Dukes. They're lethal."

[A Few Days Later]

Dev took time to recover. For days, he stayed on Earth, roaming the markets, trying to enjoy the calm.

People mocked him silently.

"Look, it's the wannabe hero..."

"That Dollar Bhai thinks he's invincible now."

But Dev didn't respond. Quiet. Focused.

One day, he walked into a legendary weaponsmith's shop. On display:

"Soulsteel Sword - Forged from Star-Iron"

Price: 2 Crore Rupees.

Without hesitation, Dev bought it.

[Back to Titan]

Returning to Titan, Dev focused entirely on mastering his new Gene Arts, ancient martial techniques designed from beast movements. Day and night, he trained, isolating himself.

Days later, he finally stepped out of his room.

Empty.

Ashoka Base, usually bustling, was eerily silent.

Suddenly, a lone figure walked past.

"Hey," Dev called out. "Where is everyone?"

The man ignored him.

"I said—"

He turned, annoyed. "You don't know? Everyone's out hunting a Sacred Beast that was spotted just beyond the northern range. Beyond the mountains."

Dev's eyes widened. "Thanks."

After Go Away Form Base He donned his Golden Armor.

WHOOSH!

Like a flash, he bolted toward the northern cliffs.

[2 Hours Later]

Reaching the battlefield, he saw Munna Bhai and his elite squad chasing a monstrous figure.

Half-bull, half-human. A massive creature with bulging arms, a thick, armored body, and a colossal axe in one hand.

The creature howled, swinging its axe, injuring the squad repeatedly.

Munna roared, "This beast has destroyed three of my beast souls already!"

He pulled out a shining arrow, whispering:

"Sacred Level. One Time Use."

He nocked it on a glowing bow and fired.

THWACK!

The arrow pierced the beast.

RAAAAARGH!

It staggered. Bleeding. One more hit and it would die.

Whispers erupted among the soldiers:

"Munna's Sacred Bow is unmatched."

"That arrow alone could buy an entire town!"

"No one is stronger than Munna."

As Munna prepared the final blow—

SWOOSH!!!

A golden blur appeared.

SLASH!!!

Dev landed a clean strike with his Soulsteel sword.

THUMP!

The beast collapsed. Dead.

A glowing Beast Soul floated up—and entered Dev. Soul Sea

Gasps.

Dev, without waiting, ran up to the fallen axe and picked it up. Heavy. Powerful.

MUNNA: "STOP RIGHT THERE!"

THUD THUD THUD! Footsteps. Rage.

"You dare steal from ME?!" Munna shouted.

Dev bolted.

"If I stay, they'll bury me alive."

His muscles strained under the weight of the axe.

After escaping into the woods, Dev dropped behind a boulder, panting. He took out the Beast Soul to inspect it.

But then...

WHOOSH!

Shadows. Figures approached. Others were using Summoned Beast Souls to track him.

A voice snarled:

"There he is."

SLASH!!!

A sword flew forward—

SHHHHHHIIINK!

Stopping just inches from Dev's throat.
