The moment Chapter 7 ends, Dev—known as Dollar—says to Viyan, "Okay, I'll fix the meeting. I'll let you know once I'm ready. But before that, I need a map of this entire region. And I want it before Munna heads out to hunt that sacred-level beast."
Viyan, slightly nervous, responds, "Bhai, we can get the map, but not before the hunt. These maps are handmade copies from Prithvi. Our guild is the only one allowed to bring them here. It'll take some paperwork and time."
Dollar nods, says "Okay," and walks away.
The next morning, after consuming the remaining three beast souls, he earns five more Sacred Points. Suddenly, a system voice echoes:
"Your Sacred Level is now equal to one-third of the members in this base. Total Sacred Points: 30."
Curious and emboldened, Dev sets out 50 kilometers away from the base towards a massive cave known to harbor mutant-level beasts. The deeper levels contain a few medium-level beasts as well, but only the boldest dare to go that far.
Dev enters the cave, dons his golden sacred-level armor, and proceeds cautiously. As he ventures deeper, the system triggers:
"You've entered the Basic Nest: Karak Beasts."
These creatures resemble giant armored crabs, slightly larger than their basic-level cousins. Since the cave is infested with them, few dare to enter. Dev slays nearly 20 of these beasts.
Then, out of the shadows, mutant-level Karak Beasts charge at him. They strike, but his sacred armor takes no visible damage. Within moments, Dev dispatches nearly 10 of them. Surprised by their unusually high numbers, he thinks:
"Something's off. Either someone came here before, or something is drawing them out."
Nevertheless, his armor continues to protect him, nullifying even sacred-level attacks. He ventures deeper and eliminates more than 30 mutant-level Karaks.
Dev Hunt's a lot of Beast And even He didn't Have idea How many Basic Level Beast He Hunts Then
Suddenly, a faint voice cries out in distress: "Looks like... I'm done for today..."
It's Shivani, pursued by three medium-level beasts. One lunges toward her. Just then:
FWOSH!
An arrow pierces the beast's side. It retreats in pain.
Dollar emerges like a savior. "Are you okay?" he asks.
Without waiting, he launches into battle. Blades slice, arrows fly, and beast roars echo:
THUD! CLANG! WHOOSH! ROARRRR!
After 45 minutes of intense combat, all three beasts lie dead. Dev is slightly injured but heals quickly thanks to his Frost Body martial technique.
He turns to Shivani. "How did you get hurt out here?"
Gritting her teeth in pain, she says, "I came to place incense that drives these beasts away. Then I went to hunt a sacred-level beast. While fighting, I didn't realize the incense had burned out. They all attacked together. The sacred-level one bit me—its venom is paralyzing me. I can't stand properly. Please… help."
Dev hesitates. Memories flood back of being isolated because of her. Why should I help her?
"Why should I help you?" he asks coldly.
"For humanity's sake," she groans.
Dev folds his arms. "Not good enough."
"Fine," she snaps. "I'll give you the souls of all mutant-level beasts I killed."
"Not enough. I want one sacred-level beast soul."
Mockingly, she retorts, "You think it's that easy to just get one?"
"You'll have to give it if you want my help. Add something more, and finish the deal."
Shivani sighs. "I'll give you one medium-level beast soul. And I'll buy the beasts you killed here at double the market rate."
"Done," Dev says. "And the beasts you killed? They're mine now."
She hesitates, then nods.
Dev helps her up and exits the cave. Shivani wonders, Did he just leave me here after finalizing the deal?
Suddenly, Dollar returns.
"Let's go," he says, lifting her onto his back. Both feel the tension but say nothing. Once outside:
"My soul," he says.
Shivani retrieves a soul from her sea and inserts it into Dev's.
"Viyan said you're selling the axe," she says. "How much do you want for it?"
"Why? How much are you offering?"
"Twenty crore."
Dev laughs. "That's low. It's a sacred-level weapon."
"But it needs a powerful physique to wield. That's a big drawback. If you sell the soul instead of the axe, I'll pay 100 crore."
"Not selling the soul. Just the axe. Price is 30 crore. Final."
"Alright. And the beasts?"
"2 crore." For Each Medium Level Beast And One crore for Mutant Level Beast and You will Remember me So I favor you ,You Have to Me Only 25 Lakh For Basic one
"Done. But I only want 20 mutant-level, 5 medium-level, and 25 basic-level ones."
"Fine," Dev says. "How do you want to pay?"
"Cash. Viyan will bring it. Tell him to deliver to the same old location. Ten days. After that, tell him about the axe."
"Deal."
Dollar leaves. Back at the base, as Dev returns to his room, Sagar—Munna's man—says:
"Be ready tomorrow. We leave for the hunt."
"Okay," Dev replies and walks to his room.
He thinks: Munna's planning something. He's taking too many people and only offering half the profit. That means something's off.
The next day, they begin a journey. After three days of travel, they reach a river.
"This is it," Munna says. "Our target is on the island in the middle of the river."
They prepare to board boats. Dev grows suspicious.
Why so many people for one sacred-level beast? he wonders. And why boats?
Someone asks, "Where did the boats come from?"
Munna replies, "Our guild reached here earlier and is preparing them."
Dev senses something is wrong.
