Chapter 220 - Landing 3

"Don't relax! Remember the Stormwind three-man formation, and maintain numerical superiority!"

Omar was breathing heavily. Two Kor'kron orcs and numerous warriors had nearly broken his line. He had to join the fight.

Orcs were individually stronger than human infantry. Even the fearless soldiers trained by the Heart of Origin struggled in one-on-one combat.

The centurion Orcs had pulled out arrows, roared, and kept charging. They were incredibly resilient!

Kor'kron Orcs often broke through human shield formations, creating gaps for others.

As casualties mounted, Galen, still controlling the battlefield, watched Varok Saurfang.

When Omar and Hennie's legions were halved, Galen committed Fadir and Flar's legions, gradually replacing them.

The Horde pushed the front line towards the second line of trenches. The musketeers had to retreat to continue firing.

Just a little longer! Galen thought. The Horde's main force was landing. Soon, they could close the trap!

The heavy losses pained Galen. Resurrection spells would help, but too many soldiers had died. Two legions were crippled, and only most of the dead infantry could be revived!

I really want to kill Orgrim!

Nearly three-quarters of the Orcish warriors had landed, attacking Galen's new defense line.

Derek's artillery position was abandoned. After firing their last shells, the sailors joined the fight with their prince.

Sylvanas and Alleria switched from long-range sniping to close-quarters combat with rapiers and short blades.

The Orcs' morale soared. These demon-blood-drunk Orcs saw death in battle as an honor, making Galen's defense increasingly difficult!

"Chirp!"

"Chirp!"

"Chirp!"

Galen's signal: three cloud-piercing arrows!

Three red flares rose!

Call for reinforcements!

The five legions of Stromgarde and over 10,000 high elves, after holding off hundreds of thousands of Orcs for three hours, were at their limit. Their artillery ammunition was exhausted. It was time to close the encirclement!

At Nesande Farm, Mograine's Lordaeron army,Alterac Eagle Knights, and Darius's three Gilnean mountain infantry regiments attacked.

Mograine said to Haas and Darius, "Stromgarde and Quel'Thalas have been fighting for half a day. It's our turn!"

"Stromgarde's army is impressive!" Mograine sighed, darkening General Haas's face.

"Alterac's Eagle Knights are equally unstoppable!" Haas retorted.

"We'll see on the battlefield. We'll see if the Orcs are as brave as Stormwind's soldiers claim!" Mograine said. He knew from Uther that the Orcs were dangerous.

Whether they are good or not, we will know after the battle. Mograine believed in Lordaeron's soldiers. Stromgarde's long defense proved their elite status.

At Southshore Wharf:

"Quick, move! Sail east! The eastern beach signals the general attack order! We must reach the artillery position in half an hour!"

Daelin's fleet, waiting in the docks, raised their sails and advanced eastward.

Several armies advanced, and Lothar led the Stormwind army from Southshore eastward!

An epic battle was about to begin!

"Damn it, where are Lothar and Daelin?" Galen thought. His troops, thankfully, did not have morale, or they would have broken.

Wherever Galen's golden light struck, a bloody storm followed. Galen stood firm amidst the green tide of Orcs!

"That human is worth fighting!" Saurfang, seeing Galen for the first time, watched him kill dozens of his Blackrock warriors. His fighting spirit ignited, and he charged at Galen with his battle axe.

The stalemate was what Galen wanted. Lothar's plan was working, holding the Orcs in place for the encirclement!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Artillery fire erupted on the beach. Daelin's navy arrived, dividing the Orcs and relieving the pressure.

The fleet's artillery was far more powerful than the Orcs'. Orcs were blown apart, and the beach became a killing field.

"Change targets! Attack the Orc transport ships! Cut off their retreat!" Daelin ordered.

If we cut off their retreat and block Baradin Bay, we can trap the Orcs and their southern reinforcements!

Orgrim was no fool. Seeing the Alliance fleet, he ordered, "Red Dragon Knights, attack the human fleet!"

"Rend! Maim! Black Tooth Grin clan, bring the transport ships back to the Wetlands!"

Then, he turned to Gul'dan: "Gul'dan!"
