"I… Uh…" Zoe did not know what to say. Her mind was still blank, having a difficult time processing what was currently happening.
Suddenly, a child-like voice screamed behind the opened door, catching their attention. They simultaneously turned their heads and saw Cassey, standing beside her door, staring at them in a horrified expression.
She screamed again. "BIG BROTHER ERIC AND BIG SISTER ZOE ARE FLIRTING!!!"
It was no doubt her voice echoed throughout the streets.
Eric chuckled and let go of Zoe's chin, letting catch her breath, while taking a step backward.
Zoe, on the other hand, panicked. After all, Cassey saw something she should not have, and, if she spread it to others, it might have caused a grave misunderstanding.
I must prevent that from happening. She thought. Without hesitation, she strided with long steps towards Cassey. Cassey was about to run, knowing she currently held valuable information, when Eric called her name.
"Cassey, come here."
