"...What are you lovebirds doing?" Brianna said with overflowing energy and a palpable mischief in her voice, suddenly appearing in the bathroom doorway.
Louie froze in place, his hand inches from my intimacy, as if he had been caught mid-forbidden movement. I, for my part, didn't know how to react. My mind took a few seconds to process her presence, the excitement giving way to a wave of embarrassment and surprise.
"Oh, God, Brianna..." I said, my voice still hoarse and trembling, suddenly remembering my friend's existence. Sanity began to return slowly, like a tide receding after a sudden surge. The intensity of the previous moment faded, leaving behind a trace of heat and a pang of awkwardness at the sudden interruption.
Brianna's smile was wide and mischievous, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of curiosity and malicious fun. She seemed to have arrived at the most inopportune... or perhaps the most opportune, depending on how you looked at it.
"Well, well... looks like the morning got interesting around here," she commented, leaning against the doorframe with her arms crossed. Her gaze swept the room, lingering on Louie's closeness and my own obvious blush. "And here I thought the bathroom was the steamiest place."
An awkward silence settled in the room. Louie remained still, his hand suspended in the air, not daring to move. I struggled to find the words, feeling the heat rise up my neck to my cheeks.
"Brianna... it's not what it looks like," I stammered, although the evidence was quite damning.
She arched an eyebrow incredulously. "Oh, no? Because it looked to me like you were about to have a very... intimate moment. Did I miss something?" Her tone was light, but there was a spark of mischief in her eyes that made me suspect she had witnessed more than she let on.
With a quick movement, almost a jump propelled by surprise and embarrassment, Louie stood up on one side of the bed. Instinctively, he took the sheet that partially covered me and carefully spread it to wrap me completely, as if trying to erase the evidence of the intimate moment we had shared.
"Oh, God, Louie! Looks like someone took you to the limit," Brianna exclaimed, letting out an amused laugh. Her mischievous gaze lingered on the undeniable evidence that was now more visible with Louie standing: the dark dampness marking the fabric of his pants right in the crotch.
It was then that Louie noticed what Brianna was seeing. I also lowered my gaze and saw it: the marked and prominent silhouette of his private parts, highlighted by the dark dampness on the fabric of his pants.
"Oh, God, Louie..." I sighed, with a mixture of surprise and a heat that reignited within me at the sight.
Without a word, his face flushed and with surprising speed, Louie shot towards the bathroom door, slamming it shut behind him. The sudden silence that remained in the room was only interrupted by Brianna's contagious laughter.
Brianna let out another hearty laugh before nimbly jumping onto the bed, landing beside me with a small bounce. She wrapped her arms around my waist, hugging me tightly while her laughter continued to echo in the room.
"Oh, Jo, friend! And here I thought this morning was going to be quiet!" she exclaimed, her voice broken by laughter. "But it seems you two had much more... interesting plans!" She squeezed me a little tighter, her joy palpable. "Well? Tell me everything!" Her eyes sparkled with insatiable curiosity. "You're not getting away that easily. What the hell was about to happen before Saint Brianna made her glorious entrance?"
A sigh escaped my lips, a mixture of embarrassment and the persistent agitation that still ran through my body. "What can I tell you, Bri? We were... talking," I tried to say as naturally as possible, although my voice still sounded a little shaky.
Brianna narrowed her eyes with a sly smile. "Talking? With hands right there and Louie with that... eloquent evidence in his pants? Come on, Jo, I wasn't born yesterday." Her grip around my waist loosened a little as she sat up to look me directly in the eyes. "I know there's more than 'talking' between you two. But, so early? And with such... intensity?" Her eyebrow rose inquisitively. "Spill the juicy details!"
"Oh my God, Brianna!" I exclaimed, my face burning with embarrassment. I tried to cover myself more with the sheet, even though I was already well wrapped. "You don't have to be so... graphic!"
She let out another giggle, although this time it was a little more contained. "Come on, Jo, we're friends. And after the night we had, I think I deserve to know what was about to happen before I interrupted your... morning bonding moment." Her gaze went towards the closed bathroom door, where Louie was surely trying to regain his composure. "Although, judging by how quickly Louie fled, I think I can get a pretty clear idea."
She leaned in a little closer, lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "Have you... you know? Have you done it yet?" Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of curiosity and slight surprise.
"No, Brianna, for God's sake!" I exclaimed, my face still flushed. "This is the first time we've... we've gone beyond the simple kisses you saw." My words tumbled out, embarrassment mixing with a strange sense of relief at confessing it.
Brianna's eyes widened in surprise, her mischievous smile vanishing for an instant, replaced by an expression of genuine surprise. "Seriously? All this time...? Wow." She thought for a moment, as if processing the information. Then, a softer smile formed on her lips. "Well, that explains everything... or almost everything." Her gaze returned to the bathroom door with a raised eyebrow. "So, it seems the 'conversation' was getting quite... interesting."
A sigh escaped my lips. "It was getting... intense, yes," I admitted, feeling the heat return to my cheeks as I remembered the sensations that had overwhelmed me just moments before. "But nothing else happened, Bri. You... you interrupted just in time."
Brianna looked at me with a mixture of disbelief and amusement. "Just in time or just at the best moment? Depends on how you look at it," she commented with a sly smile. "But I understand. First times... are special." Her tone softened a bit, almost understanding. "Although, I must admit that Louie's reaction to seeing you was... epic." She let out a small giggle, remembering his hasty retreat to the bathroom.
"He was embarrassed," I murmured, although deep down I knew there was more than just embarrassment in his reaction. The excitement we had both felt was undeniable.
"Embarrassed and... clearly affected," Brianna added, raising her eyebrows suggestively. "But well, now the important thing is... what do we do?" Her gaze became more serious, although the spark of curiosity still shone in her eyes. "What's going to happen between you two now?"
A deep blush spread across my entire face at her direct question. I lowered my gaze, feeling a pang of embarrassment as I remembered the intensity of the sensations that had overwhelmed me moments before. It was difficult to put into words something so intimate and, until that moment, unexplored.
"Bri..." I began in a whisper, my voice barely audible. "It was... different. I had never felt anything like that..." I paused, searching for the right words to describe the mixture of excitement, nervousness, and a strange sense of vulnerability that had invaded me.
"His touch... felt... electrifying," I continued, raising my gaze briefly to meet hers, where understanding was beginning to dawn. "And... the closeness... the way he looked at me... made me feel... things." My cheeks burned, and my heart pounded hard as I relived those moments in my mind.
"I felt... a need... a warmth... in places where I had never felt it before," I confessed, lowering my voice even more, almost ashamed to admit the intensity of my own physical response. "It was... a little overwhelming, but... it also... felt... good. Very good." A trembling sigh escaped my lips as I evoked the explosion of sensations I had experienced just before her arrival. "I let myself go... and... I felt... a lot." Shame prevented me from adding more explicit details, but I hoped my words were enough for Brianna to understand, at least a little, what had happened.
Brianna looked at me in silence for a moment, her expression serious and thoughtful. She seemed to be processing each of my words, understanding the vulnerability implied by my confession. Finally, a small, soft smile formed on her lips.
"Wow, Jo," she said in a sweet and understanding tone. "Looks like things between you and Louie are getting... serious." She paused briefly, as if searching for the right words. "And that... that's good, right?" Her gaze was now direct and filled with a comforting warmth. "I mean, you both like each other a lot, and after everything you've been through..." She left the sentence hanging in the air, alluding to the obstacles we had faced as a group and the growing connection between Louie and me.
"Yes," I replied in a whisper, feeling a weight lift from my chest as I shared my feelings with her. "Yes, it feels... good. Although also a little... scary." The idea of exploring a physical intimacy with Louie was exciting, but it also filled me with uncertainty and a pang of shyness.
Brianna nodded slowly, understanding my hesitation. "I get it. It's a big step. But, Jo, look at yourself. And look at Louie. You love each other. And what happened a moment ago... well, it seemed pretty obvious that you both enjoyed it." Her smile regained a mischievous touch. "Although, I regret interrupting right at the best part." She nudged me gently in the ribs. "Who knows what would have happened if I hadn't come out of the bathroom at that exact moment?"
"Now that you mention it..." I said, frowning slightly as well. "Yes, it's very strange that Elena hasn't come already." A pang of worry shot through me for an instant, but then I remembered the phone call. "Ah, wait... the call!"
"Call? What call?" Brianna asked, looking at me curiously.
"It was Elena," I explained. "She called a while ago, just before... well, you know." A slight blush returned to my cheeks as I remembered the interrupted moment. "She said my whole family went on a business trip for a few days. And they took my nieces because Esperanza didn't want to leave them alone."
Brianna's eyes widened in surprise. "Your whole family? They all left?"
I nodded. "Yes. And she also said they gave almost all the mansion staff the week off for their vacation. Only the guard at the entrance is here, and the cleaning ladies will come early, but they'll leave before we wake up."
A slow, significant smile began to form on my lips as I fully understood the implications of the news. I looked at Brianna, and then my eyes went towards the closed bathroom door, where Louie still remained.
"And... well," I continued in a soft tone, a slight mischief in my voice. "I guess that, knowing we had... the house to ourselves... things got a little more... intense."
Brianna's eyes lit up with a mixture of surprise and excitement at my revelation. "What?! The whole mansion to ourselves? And a whole week?" Her face lit up with a mischievous grin. "Oh, Jo, this is amazing! Under other circumstances, I'd worry about you being left here alone, but... this is a golden opportunity!"
She sat up completely in bed, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "A whole week without having to hide, without the constant fear of your parents discovering us! We can do whatever we want, whenever we want, in any corner of this huge mansion!" Her gaze went towards the bathroom door, where there was still no sign of Louie. "Well, almost any corner... at least until wet Romeo decides to come out of his hiding place."
She turned back to me with a radiant smile, holding out a hand. "Come on, Jo! We have a mansion at our disposal! We can spend the week the three of us together, enjoying every corner, the pool, the huge garden... without fear of your parents kicking us out!" Her enthusiasm was contagious, and the idea of a week of freedom without the usual restrictions was beginning to sound really tempting.
I let out a laugh at Brianna's enthusiasm, catching her energy. "You're right, Bri. It's a unique opportunity. Although... I don't know if Louie will be so thrilled to spend the whole week with the two of us," I said with a sly smile, remembering his sudden retreat to the bathroom.
"Nonsense!" Brianna exclaimed, waving her hand dismissively. "Once he gets over his embarrassment, he'll be thrilled. Think of all the movies we can watch in the home theater, the pool nights, the video game marathons in that huge room in the basement! And without having to whisper or jump at the slightest noise!" Her imagination was already soaring.
"Yeah, it sounds... fun," I admitted, although a part of me was still thinking about the less innocent interruptions that might have occurred without Brianna's presence.
At that moment, we heard Louie's voice on the other side of the bathroom door, although it sounded a little muffled. "Hey... love..." His tone was soft, almost embarrassed. "I need... clothes..." He said sheepishly, the embarrassment still palpable in his voice.
I giggled at Louie's request from the other side of the door, picturing him embarrassed and unclothed. Beside me, Brianna let out a hearty laugh that echoed in the room.
"I'll get them for you, love," I said in a soft, sweet voice towards the bathroom door. "Send me your measurements in a message, please. And take advantage and shower while I get you the clothes," I added gently.
"Love... I don't have my phone. It's on the nightstand," Louie replied, his voice still laden with shame.
"I'll get it for you, love," I said, taking Louie's phone that was on the nightstand. The screen lit up, showing a picture of me smiling as the wallpaper. A wave of tenderness washed over me at that small detail.
Beside me, Brianna burst into another laugh, this time even louder. "You're so cheesy, Romeo!" she exclaimed between laughs.
I approached the bathroom door and gently knocked on the wood. "Love, open the door a little so I can pass you the phone," I said softly. The door opened just enough for a hand to reach out. I placed the phone in his palm and waited. A few seconds later, my own phone vibrated with a new message. It was from Louie, with his measurements.
I quickly opened one of my favorite shopping apps and started looking for clothes for Louie. I selected several casual outfits for the whole week, comfortable pajamas, and some toiletries that he would surely need. I also added a pair of sneakers that I know he loves, a modern swimsuit that would look great on him by the pool, and that woody perfume he always said he wanted to try. As an extra impulse, I included a couple of t-shirts of his favorite bands and a cap that I know he wears when he goes running. I double-checked the sizes based on the message he had sent me and confirmed the purchase, opting for express delivery so it would arrive as soon as possible. I paid with my card, feeling a small pang of satisfaction at taking care of him and giving him some unexpected gifts.
Then, I picked up the room's landline phone and dialed the doorman's number. After a couple of rings, Mr. Oswaldo answered in his usual kind tone.
"Good morning, Mr. Oswaldo, how are you?" I asked politely.
"Good morning, Miss. Fine, thank God. Do you need anything?" he replied, his voice denoting his willingness to help.
"Yes, Mr. Oswaldo. I bought some things online and they should arrive in a little while. Please, when they arrive, could you leave them in the hall?"
"At your service, Miss. I'll take care of it. Anything else I can help you with?"
"Nothing else, Mr. Oswaldo. Thank you very much and have a good day," I said with a smile, even though he couldn't see it.
"Likewise, Miss. Have a good day," he replied kindly before hanging up.
I put the phone back on the nightstand and turned to Brianna, who was watching me with an amused smile.
"Did you buy a whole store for your wet Romeo?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Something like that," I replied, shrugging with a guilty smile. "I wanted him to have everything he needed for the week... and a few little extras." The thought of seeing him in the new clothes and perfume made me feel a mixture of anticipation and tenderness.
"And for me?" Brianna said with feigned sadness in her voice, although her mischievous eyes betrayed her.
I smiled and hugged her again. "Oh, Bri, don't be like that. You have access to my whole closet. Keep whatever you want. You know I share everything with you."
Brianna had already disappeared into my closet, surely enjoying her impromptu shopping spree. Just then, the doorbell rang, indicating that Louie's purchases had arrived.
I left the room, still in my pajamas, and went downstairs. Opening the front door, I found the bags with the store logo neatly stacked in the hall. There was no sign of Mr. Oswaldo; he had surely left them there and departed quickly.
I picked up the bags, which were quite heavy, and locked the door. I went back up to the room, curious to see Louie's reaction when he saw his new wardrobe. Entering, I found Brianna submerged among my clothes, with a pile of folded garments on her arms and a wide smile on her face.
"Look what I found, Jo!" Brianna exclaimed, holding up one of my favorite silk blouses. "I always wanted this one. It's perfect!"
I smiled. "It looks great on you, Bri. Keep it."
"Really?" she asked, her eyes shining.
"Of course. That's what I told you. Now, help me get these things out for Romeo," I said, pointing to the bags I had left on the bed.
Together, we emptied the bags, spreading out the clothes, shoes, swimsuit, and perfume on the comforter. There was a variety of styles and colors, thinking about him having options for the whole week.
"Wow, Jo, you didn't skimp on expenses," Brianna commented, examining the perfume curiously. "This smells delicious. Louie is going to love it!"
"I hope so," I replied with a nervous smile. "I wanted him to have something comfortable that he would feel good in."
At that moment, the bathroom door slowly opened and Louie peeked his head out, his hair wet and a towel wrapped around his waist. His eyes widened in surprise at the display of clothes on the bed.
"I thought you weren't in the room," Louie said, his voice still a little unsure as he finished stepping out of the bathroom, the towel clinging precariously to his hip. My gaze fixed on him, on the way the water droplets glistened on his tanned skin, on the outline of his pectoral muscles... it was the first time I had seen him like this, so vulnerable and yet so... present. A flip occurred in my stomach. Our eyes met for a fleeting instant, a silent connection charged with the tension from a while ago, before Brianna broke the silence with her usual spontaneity.
"Look at everything your Juliet bought you, Romeo!" Brianna exclaimed with a funny smile at the scene, pointing to the display of clothes on the bed. Then she looked at me mischievously and added in a low voice, but loud enough for Louie to hear, "Juliet, who is devouring that naked and wet torso with her eyes..."
A slight blush colored my cheeks at Brianna's comment, although I couldn't help but keep my gaze on Louie's torso for a few more seconds. The water droplets still shone faintly on his skin, highlighting the shape of his muscles. I quickly looked away, feeling the heat rise up my neck.
Louie, for his part, seemed a little overwhelmed by the amount of clothing. His eyes went from the spread-out garments to me, with a mixture of surprise and something else I couldn't quite decipher.
"All this... is for me?" he asked, his voice still a little hoarse from the shower.
"Absolutely!" Brianna replied enthusiastically. "Your Juliet outdid herself. You have outfits for the whole week, pajamas, a swimsuit... even new perfume!" She picked up the bottle and held it out for him to smell. "Smells delicious, right?"
Louie took the perfume bottle, smelled it briefly, and then looked at both of us with an expression of genuine surprise and disbelief. "Love, isn't this the perfume... right?"
"Yes, darling, it's the perfume you wanted," I said with a slight smile. "Among other things that I know you wanted," I added briefly.
"How is it possible that my girlfriend of... well, you know... bought me all this?" His gaze went from me to the clothes spread out on the bed, as if he couldn't quite grasp the magnitude of the gesture.
Brianna crossed her arms with an amused smile. "Oh, Louie, it's just that your girlfriend isn't a common thirteen-year-old girl. She's Josephine. Daughter of one of the richest families in the country, remember?" She winked at me before looking back at Louie. "So get used to the luxuries, Romeo. Your Juliet knows how to take care of her man."
A slight blush returned to my cheeks at the mention of my family, although Brianna's intention was good. Louie seemed even more surprised, his eyes traveling again to the clothes and then to me, with an expression that mixed gratitude and a slight confusion.
"Josephine... I... I don't know what to say," he stammered, still holding the perfume bottle in his hand. "It's too much..."
"Nonsense, Louie," I interjected with a soft smile, approaching him and taking his free hand. "I wanted you to have everything you needed for this week. And besides... I wanted to give you a little gift." I squeezed his hand lightly. "You deserve it."
"God, I want to shower you with kisses, because you're so beautiful, my love," Louie said, looking at me tenderly, stealing a tender smile from me.
Brianna looked at Louie mischievously, "Romeo, I don't think you can hug her with just that towel on," then with enthusiasm she almost shouted, "Now try something on! We want to see our Romeo in his new outfits!"
"Are you going to let me get dressed then?" Louie said with a subtle smile, his gaze sweeping over the clothes until it stopped on the new underwear resting on Josephine's bed. A slight blush appeared on his cheeks as he made that comment. "This is too much, my love," he added in a soft tone, charged with a mixture of surprise and affection.
"I chose everything, it's a plus knowing what my boyfriend wears under his pants," I said with a sly smile, "now I'm going to shower," I said, turning around to walk to my bathroom.
As I walked away, I heard Brianna's giggle and then her voice saying she was going to get something to drink, before the door closed behind her. I had barely taken a couple of steps when I heard Louie's soft voice behind me.
"Oh, really? Well, now I'm even more curious to try them on," he said with a playful tone and a mischievous smile in his voice.
I smiled mischievously, still not turning around. "Love, be careful, the only thing covering you might fall off."
I felt his soft laughter just before his arms wrapped around my waist and he pulled me towards him, kissing me with a tenderness that made me sigh. It was a soft kiss but charged with a deep connection, as if he needed to reaffirm our bond in that moment of shared intimacy.
