A brunette girl amongst the dancing crowd in a bar looked out of place, not because of the skinny black leather dress and spiral heels she was wearing but because of the anxious look on her face. She swiftly kicked off her heels_for easy movement;at a time like this she needed to be swift else they find her. Urgh, she inwardly regretted not listening to Calhoun to come with bodyguards. On other days she would fight them off easily but currently her body felt like it was made of lead.
'There she is get her!' a bold bulky guy who seemed like the leader said.
'Oh no, whatever the cost Tristan's men must not get me' she immediately turns around and runs as fast as her legs could take her at the moment as the six men gained steadilly on her.
She moved through the exit to the street outside and continued. Her chest was burning, her legs heavy and weak and beads of persperation had formed on her forehead but she stubbornly refused to stop, making several turns to a place far away from them. She reached a dark alley and suddenly stops as the trailing footsteps grew fainter....and fainter. She stopped to take a breather, she panted and rested her hands heavily on her knees. Suddenly she sees a shadow from her peripherial view and the next thing she knew a huge hand had clasped heavily on her nostrils and lips. She tried to clasp for something but her arms were locked by another equally powerful arm.
'Told ya this one is a hard one, we may have to say good night'
The girl bit through the hand camping her lips.
'Ouch!' shrieked the guy and this time he clamped her mouth with a handkerchief and unwillingly, her eyelids became heavy and eyes closed.
'What are you doing?' a tall lean guy asked, his face was hidden in the shadows.
'Piss off!!!' Another man attacked him with a blow but he dodged it deftly and instead banged the attacker's head hard against the concrete wall before sending him flying with a kick. The other one let the girl go and escaped_safety comes first.
