Vishal was somewhat passable, but Mathews' vocals literally could not be saved.
He had to avoid singing no matter what, and it wasn't likely that a ballad would have a rap portion, which meant they would have to create it from scratch rather than just arrange the song.
It was extra work that nobody wanted to do unless they didn't have to.
