Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: Death of Hate

"F***, this can't be happening!"

The Abomination's already twisted face contorted with disbelief. His features, distorted by rage and mutation, became even more grotesque. He refused to accept what he'd just witnessed—his strength, his fury, all his raw power… crushed like nothing.

Fueled by rage and further amplified by the serum coursing through his veins, his monstrous form grew. Thick, grotesque arms swelled with power. Veins pulsed visibly beneath his cracked skin. His bloodlust burned brighter than ever.

In a flash of movement, his left hand clenched into a fist and lashed out toward Bella.

But she was faster.

Terrifyingly faster.

The right hand that had been locked in a deadlock just a moment ago suddenly moved with a speed that the human eye could barely follow. Bella's gloved fingers—so delicate, so deceptively elegant—snapped forward like a vice and seized the monster's wrist mid-swing.

It was like an iron trap slamming shut.

CRACK!

The sound echoed across the bridge like a thunderclap. A wet, sickening snap of bone.

The Abomination screamed—a howl of agony, fury, and humiliation. His right wrist had been crushed in an instant, the bones pulverized by Bella's terrifying grip.

This was the power of five thousand tons of force, channeled through one hand.

Blood burst from the mangled joint, painting the pavement.

But he didn't fall.

Before he became a monster, he had been a soldier. Battle-hardened. A survivor. Pain alone couldn't stop him.

Biting through the agony, he raised his left arm and hurled a punch at Bella with all his might.

It was a desperate attack. One last effort.

It failed.

Bella's left hand shot forward, and this time, her punch landed squarely against his oncoming fist.

BOOM!

The collision of their fists sent another shockwave across the bridge. But unlike before, the result was immediate and devastating.

The Abomination's hand crumpled like paper.

Bone shattered under the blow. Joints ruptured. Spikes burst through his own skin, tearing through muscle. Blood exploded from his arm like a fountain. His once-mighty limb now dangled like a useless sack of meat.

But Bella wasn't done.

She surged forward like a storm—relentless and surgical.

Elbows slammed into his ribs.

Knees cracked against his gut.

Her fists moved in a blur, each strike more punishing than the last. Her entire body moved like a machine of war, cold and precise.

Every hit was devastating. Every blow echoed with thousands of tons of force. She moved faster than the eye could follow, her attacks beautiful in their brutality.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The audience around the world watched, breathless. The live feed, now broadcast across every major network, showed the unthinkable.

The monster that had just ravaged a major bridge was now staggering like a drunk, swaying helplessly under Bella's barrage.

He couldn't even raise his arms to defend himself.

Blood poured freely.

"Hell yes!"

"Kill that ugly bastard!"

"Finish him, Goddess!"

Cheers erupted from civilians still on the bridge. Some clapped. Some cried. Others simply stood in awe.

In homes, bars, and offices across the nation, people watched with bated breath. Many had opened a beer just to cope with the tension—now, they raised their glasses in exhilaration.

In Tony Stark's oceanside villa, he stared at the screen like a scientist discovering a new element.

That gleam in his eyes—it wasn't just admiration. It was curiosity. Fascination. Like the first time he dismantled an engine at age eight and rebuilt it backwards just to understand how it worked.

"J.A.R.V.I.S.," he said quietly.

"Yes, sir?"

"Give me an estimate on her strength."

"Based on current data from drone footage and crowd proximity analysis," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied, "the creature identified as Abomination demonstrates approximately 80 tons of physical force. The woman—designated as the Goddess of Judgment—displays estimated strength in the range of 3,500 to 5,000 tons."

Pepper, who had been silently watching beside him, turned wide-eyed.

"3,500?" she gasped.

"Minimum," J.A.R.V.I.S. confirmed. "Additionally, her reaction time and nervous response system appear to be at least 50 times faster than that of an average human."

Tony whistled.

"Frightening," he muttered. "She's not just a superhuman… she's something else entirely."

Pepper nodded slowly, still staring at the screen. "She looks… perfect. Like a higher form of life."

Tony didn't respond. He was already thinking three moves ahead.

If someone with that power went rogue…

Back on the bridge, Bella's assault raged on.

In less than ten seconds, the Abomination had taken a beating more brutal than anything he'd faced in his life. His monstrous body, once so powerful, now felt like it was falling apart with each breath.

He tried to stand straight—but something in his hip gave way.

His vision blurred.

No… not like this…

The brutal momentum didn't stop.

And then, amidst the blinding speed and overwhelming violence, a gap appeared.

Bella's fist drew back again for another crushing blow.

The Abomination—eyes glazed and bloodied—recognized an opening. A soldier's instinct kicked in.

He didn't retreat.

He endured.

At the very last second, he braced his legs, locking his knees.

And then—he pushed.

BOOM!

Cracks split the pavement. With a roar of desperation, the Abomination launched himself backward, using Bella's incoming blow as propulsion.

Bella's punch hit—but not cleanly.

His arms absorbed some of the impact as his body was hurled through the air like a cannonball. The bridge beneath him splintered from the shock.

Bella's eyes narrowed beneath her mask.

Clever.

She had to give him credit—he'd survived longer than she expected.

But there would be no escape.

Not tonight.

With a sharp breath, she dashed forward. Her feet struck the ground with such force that her body blurred into a golden streak. The air around her seemed to rupture as she shot forward like a beam of divine judgment.

In mid-air, the Abomination turned just in time to see her coming.

His eyes widened in horror.

"She—she saw through me?!"

Too late.

Bella was already beneath him.

She looked up—eyes cold as ice.

The Abomination felt his chest tighten. Fear—the kind that crept into his bones.

Then, her right leg lifted.

Golden light surged.

From her Oxford leather shoes to the very tip of her toes, a blinding, radiant force engulfed her leg—like she had drawn down a sliver of the sun itself.

"No—!"

His voice was drowned by the roar of wind and light.

WHAM!

Her kick struck his chin with the force of a nuclear warhead. Golden energy exploded in a blinding arc, cutting through the sky and casting shadows across the entire city skyline.

A wave of shock burst outward in all directions.

The Abomination didn't scream.

He didn't get the chance.

His body disintegrated in a burst of golden light—flesh, bone, blood, all turned to ash. There was no trace left. Only the fading echo of that desperate, final roar.

BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.

Vehicles were tossed like toys by the shockwave. The ocean beneath the bridge churned violently. Even the air shimmered from the raw energy released.

And then—silence.

Dust settled. The golden glow faded.

And there she stood—Bella. Still. Calm. Alone.

She slowly lowered her leg.

Her figure bathed in the last rays of sunlight. Her suit untouched. Her mask unreadable.

Across the city, no one spoke.

Not for a few seconds.

Then—

"...O…M…G…"

A single voice broke the silence.

And then a thousand more.

Cheers. Screams. Cries of joy.

The monster that had brought Manhattan to its knees had been annihilated in a single, divine kick.

And the Goddess of Judgment became legend.
