Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Goddess vs. Abomination

The monster lay crushed beneath the weight of Bella's transformed motorcycle, the sheer force of the impact creating a massive crater in the bridge. The pavement cracked and buckled under the pressure, and a shockwave of air roared outward in all directions, sending debris and smashed vehicles flying through the air.

Fortunately, none of it struck the nearby school bus.

Still, the Manhattan Bridge groaned under the strain. It shook violently as if protesting the chaos unfolding atop it. Screams echoed from those still trapped on the bridge, terrified that the structure itself might give way.

"Damn bastard!" the monster snarled, voice like grinding steel.

Pinned beneath the motorcycle, it roared in fury. Sparks erupted as it twisted and ground the front wheels under its massive claws, trying to crush or throw the vehicle off. Its rage boiled over, claws slashing toward the metal frame.

Beneath her mask, Bella's brows furrowed.

With a strong push on the handlebars, she launched herself forward, flipping into the air as the beast bucked beneath her. The movement was fluid, precise—practically artistic.

Boom!

She landed atop the crumpled roof of an Audi parked just in front of the school bus. The car was flattened instantly, glass bursting in all directions like crystalline snow.

The entire move looked like something out of a high-octane action movie—only it was real. Adrenaline surged through the bridge's survivors as they watched her in awe.

With one foot on the crushed Audi to steady herself, Bella adjusted her posture and looked over her shoulder at the children and adults behind her.

Though she didn't speak, her gaze said it all.

"Are you okay?"

A few brave voices shouted back.

"We're good, Goddess! Smash that freak!"

"We're with you—kick his ass!"

"Sister is so cool!" squealed a young girl from the bus.

Bella blinked under her mask, expression unreadable. She turned back to face the monster with a subtle shake of her head.

So much for being intimidating.

Still, she wasn't here for praise.

She felt the tension in the air—an ambush was coming.

The monster had already begun to rise from the ground, shaking off the debris like it was nothing. His towering frame—over two meters tall—was all too familiar. The grotesque musculature, bony protrusions, and the twisted face.

Abomination.

She knew that form. The failed imitation of Hulk created by the military, always trying to replicate power without responsibility.

So predictable.

Bella sighed internally.

Of course it's the military or some shady government agency again. They always want to play God and end up creating monsters. And now I get to clean up their mess.

The creature snarled and locked eyes with her.

"I've heard of you, Goddess of Judgment," he growled, his voice thick with malice. "But I look better than the Hulk. Stronger too."

He spread his arms, displaying his body with grotesque pride.

"If I kill you—everyone will know I'm the strongest."

Bella didn't respond.

The crowd watching through the live broadcast held their breath. The raw aggression radiating off the beast was palpable even through a screen. His bloodlust saturated the air.

Bella stepped off the wrecked car.

With a soft hum, the golden aura surrounding the transformed motorcycle flickered out. The tech dissolved, and the sleek, futuristic machine reverted back into the familiar frame of her black Ducati. She turned her back on it without a second glance.

Each step she took echoed against the bridge's cracked surface, until she was less than ten meters away from the monster.

A goddess in black—tall, elegant, deliberate. Standing before a creature of war and rage.

She was 1.78 meters tall.

He towered over her like a giant.

The contrast was dramatic—ugliness and grace, brutality and poise. It looked like the final act of a movie, but this was no Hollywood production.

This was real.

People around the world watched the confrontation with rapt attention. Even Tony Stark was now sitting upright in his living room, eyes fixed on the TV. His earlier amusement was gone—now he watched with seriousness, recognizing the power at play.

Across the city and beyond, organizations tuned in.

S.H.I.E.L.D. analysts scribbled notes. Military commanders stared at the feed, some swallowing hard. In hidden corners of the supernatural world, whispers began.

Then came the roar.

Boom!

Abomination charged.

His massive feet crushed the pavement beneath him, each step shaking the bridge like thunder. Despite his size, his speed was terrifying. He weighed close to a thousand pounds, yet moved with the force of a speeding tank.

In a blur, he crossed the ten-meter distance between them, swinging a haymaker with his oversized fist. The force of it was monstrous—over 80 tons of sheer power, enough to obliterate steel and flatten a tank.

He aimed straight for Bella's chest.

But she didn't move.

She didn't even blink.

Instead, she raised her right arm—and punched.

BOOM!

The impact was like a sonic boom. A thunderclap split the air as the two fists collided. Wind exploded outward in every direction. Vehicles were knocked back. Shards of broken glass rained down.

The bridge groaned under the shockwave. The school bus behind Bella rocked dangerously. Pinned between vehicles, it couldn't roll away—but the sheer force shoved it several inches toward the edge of the bridge.

Inside, children screamed. Some cried. Others just stared in wide-eyed shock.

Crowds across the city gasped, standing up from their seats, palms pressed to screens.

This wasn't just a punch—it was a clash of gods.

And then—

The dust cleared.

Bella hadn't moved.

Not an inch.

Abomination, on the other hand, staggered backward. He stared down at their still-clenched fists, disbelieving.

"What... what the hell?" he muttered.

She was unmoved. Untouched. Calm.

His knuckles throbbed. His bones ached. It felt like he had slammed his fist into a titanium wall—and lost.

He tried to push harder, roar louder, unleash more strength... but it didn't matter.

She stood like a statue.

His strength, born from a serum he believed made him unstoppable, failed him in this moment.

And in that failure—his arrogance cracked.

He realized something he had never considered before: He was not the apex predator.

Up above, in homes and offices and command centers, the world watched the impossible become reality.

The Goddess of Judgment didn't just match Abomination—she overpowered him.

The crowd on the bridge erupted in cheers. Some fell to their knees in awe. Others cried openly, overwhelmed by relief and wonder.

Tony Stark leaned back in his seat, lips pressed into a line.

"Well… that's new," he muttered.

Pepper smiled faintly, wiping the corner of her eye. "She's incredible."

On the bridge, Bella slowly drew back her fist.

She didn't need to say anything.

The message was clear.

You are nothing to me.

And for the first time, Abomination felt fear.
