Something about the way he spoke didn't add up. But none of it made sense to me.
They made my life a living hell, and that I wasn't leaving behind.
"I'm only here because I have nowhere to go in the dark and no access to communication," I scoffed as I turned towards the wardrobe.
"I know I hurt you so deeply, but…" he leaned closer, and I turned, his eyes lingering on me, causing my chest to heave slightly.
"Let me take that away," he whispered into my ear, his hot breath brushing over the skin beneath, sending a soft shiver down my spine.
"Just let…" I trailed off as his lips took over mine in one soft ride.
I relented, trying to break free, but the heat I felt betrayed my actions.
My body betrayed me, aching dangerously for more with every passing second.
Something about the way he kissed my lips sent my brain and systems into an automatic shutdown, my nerves betraying me over and over again.
