CHAPTER 65.5 - Kei vs. Desmolfer's Husbands. Part 2.
Two demon ladies were sipping coffee in a café. A very ordinary and simple café.
The café was small but cozy, with wooden tables and warm lights creating a relaxing atmosphere. The two demons, with their small horns and glowing eyes, seemed completely normal in this setting, as if they were just two friends sharing a coffee. And that's what they were—two ordinary women, socializing.
They don't drink the blood of babies or sacrificed virgins; they just drink coffee. Specifically, coffee with two spoonfuls of sugar.
"Did you hear what happened to Droipi?"
"Yeah. What's she going to do with the kid now?"
A normal conversation, a normal day, until…
"We should support her with—"
Boom!
Unexpectedly, something fell from the sky and destroyed part of the street. The explosion was so loud that the café's windows rattled, and the coffee cups fell off the tables. The two demons jumped up, staring outside with wide eyes.
"Huh?! What was that?!" one of them shouted, running to the window for a better look.
Dust and debris were flying everywhere, and people on the street were running in all directions, screaming and terrified.
They're definitely weak. They may be demons, but they're still ordinary city folk.
By the way, that "something" that fell from the sky was Kei.
He's on the ground, sighing. He killed two demons in seconds, but only because they underestimated him. Now that the others are attacking him seriously, he realized that, yes, they're more powerful than him.
But that, far from scaring him, only excites him.
"I looked so cool, and now they're beating me. I'm an idiot; I wasted magic on those rapey tentacles," Kei muttered, slowly getting up from the ground.
He was covered in dust and had a few scratches, but he seemed more annoyed than hurt. He brushed off his clothes and looked around, assessing the situation.
He felt bad seeing the ordinary demons fleeing from him; he felt like the villain. And, well, technically, he was the villain in the demons' story. He was about to start reflecting on that, but there was no time for it.
A demon was heading toward him, with a confident smile, certain that victory was assured.
Kei didn't move; he stayed in place, and his expression turned to… fear?
His sword disappeared, or rather, it shrank. A small flame remained in the palm of his hand.
"I'm almost out of magic?! Shit, I can't move!" Kei shouted… scared?
Or, more like…
The demon landed in front of him.
"I guess you're not that strong!" the demon mocked, slowly approaching.
Its eyes gleamed with malice, and its sharp claws were ready to strike.
The demon swung at him, thinking it would be as easy as squashing a bug, but…
[Now!] Kei said to Nirfei through his [Thought Communication] ability.
Kei perfectly dodged the attack, and his sword reappeared in his hand. With a swift motion, he sliced the demon in half at the waist. The demon fell to the ground, screaming in pain and shock.
Kei was supposed to be unable to move—he said so himself, and it felt like he was telling the truth. And, technically, it was true.
"You fell for my trap," Kei said, smiling with a satisfied expression.
Though he was exhausted, he still had a few tricks up his sleeve.
"What?!" the demon screamed, unable to believe what had just happened.
Its companions, who had been watching from a distance, now approached quickly, ready to take revenge. They hadn't intervened because they thought it unnecessary. They kept underestimating Kei simply because he was human, and that mistake cost them dearly again.
"Damn you!" one of the other demons shouted, lunging at Kei with fury.
But Kei wasn't about to give up so easily.
"I've got 10% left…" Kei muttered, quickly calculating how much magical energy he had remaining.
He knew he couldn't afford any more mistakes. Before leaving, he destroyed the demon's heart with his sword, ensuring it was dead. Then, he ran off.
"I need to come up with something else!" he told himself as he darted through the streets.
He dodged the demons' attacks and kept escaping, not fighting back.
Again and again, he just dodged and fled. Why? Well…
[Drin, Mia, how much more time do you need?]
[Just four more minutes, darling,] Drin replied, as she and Mia were in a dark place where the only thing shining was the two daggers Drin held in her hands, glowing brightly with a blue hue.
Blood was constantly streaming from her eyes, nose, ears, and mouth, but despite the intense pain, she kept going: infusing the daggers with her magical power.
"We'll only have one second."
"Understood," Mia said, nodding.
Failure was not an option.

Meanwhile, a beautiful girl stepped out of a store with bags in her hands. She had two small horns on her forehead, short white hair, three completely red eyes, sharp teeth, dark skin, and was tall, wearing a beautiful white dress.
In appearance, she was beautiful, yes, but very feminine. And is that a problem? Well, considering her importance, it's odd, or rather, unusual.
Her name is Desmolfer. Yes, Desmolfer, the same Demon Queen, famous for her sexual tortures. The one with multiple sexual partners. The one whose cruelty rivals that of the Molfers.
Never judge by appearances, and Desmolfer is living proof of that.
"I'm hungry," she murmured, looking at the bags she was carrying.
No worries, no fear. For her, it was just another normal day. All tasks were completed. The commanders, the clans, the high-ranking demons—everyone was handling their own duties. In other words, she had free time.
Doesn't she notice the fight? No. Why? Because of her curse.
"Where should I eat?"
But before she could decide what to do, a fireball was heading toward her.
"Huh?" Desmolfer said, looking at the fireball with curiosity.
She wasn't scared; it was an attack that wouldn't even scratch her. She was simply intrigued. Why? Because no ordinary demon can use magic, and using magic in the city is strictly forbidden. Who would dare break her rules? The answer was about to appear.
Kei landed in front of her and destroyed the fireball with his sword, causing an explosion. Nirfei absorbed the blast, preventing any damage.
The impact was so strong that Desmolfer had to take a step back, but Kei stood firm, protecting her without hesitation. She didn't step back out of fear or because the explosion was powerful; she did it because of the impact. Yes, the impact.
The impact of being protected by a human.
"Idiot, aim properly! Don't kill innocents!" Kei shouted, looking toward where the fireball had come from.
Then, he turned to the girl and smiled.
"Sorry about that, miss," Kei said, with a kind smile on his face.
Desmolfer blushed when she saw Kei's smile. It was the first time someone had protected her like that, and she couldn't help but feel touched. Moreover, something about Kei impressed her even more.
He ran off, leaving Desmolfer behind, but his image lingered in her mind.
The image of his perfect soul.
"That soul is perfect. It's the most beautiful soul I've ever seen…" Desmolfer said, touching her chest.
An elderly demon approached her, his face full of concern.
"Great Desmolfer, that boy was a human! We must…!"
"They must capture him alive! If you kill him, I'll be furious! I want him alive!" Desmolfer shouted, interrupting the elder.
Her voice was firm and authoritative, and the elder began to tremble under her gaze.
"Y-Yes, Great Desmolfer," the elder said, bowing respectfully before hurrying away.
Desmolfer licked her lips and smiled, imagining what it would be like to have Kei by her side. The ultimate weapon. The perfect warrior.
The being with the most beautiful soul she had ever seen in her life.
"That must be the hero Kei. He's more interesting than I imagined," she said softly, walking back with a playful smile on her face.
Why doesn't she do anything to stop him? It's not that she can't; it's that she mustn't. Because if she did, if she killed or captured Kei, her defeat would be inevitable.
The 50/50 law of the Supreme God and Fravi's curse. Two things that limit her.

Kei entered a dead-end alley and sat on the ground, exhausted. The demons landed in front of him, ready to finish him off once and for all.
"Can we take a break? I've got 1% of my magical energy left," Kei said, trying to sound nonchalant, though he knew he was in a desperate situation.
"Don't play funny!" one of the demons shouted, lunging at Kei with fury.
But before they could reach him, a hole opened in the wall, and Drin emerged. She held two daggers in her hands and slit the demons' throats with ease.
Mia came out of the hole and grabbed them by the necks, a sweet smile on her face.
"My turn," Mia said, squeezing with her immense strength until the demons' necks snapped.
Their heads fell to the ground, and Kei lay back, exhausted and relieved.
"W-We did it. It was a good strategy," Kei said, with a weak smile on his face.
Without waiting any longer, Kei jumped up and looked at the still-open hole.
"Let's go!" he said, and the others entered the hole, leaving the demons' bodies behind.
•

After climbing, they managed to exit the hole alive, and Kei immediately used [Teleportation], appearing in the garden of their base.
Why didn't they use that ability earlier? Why wait until they were out of the hole? Because demons can't use it in hell. Fravi blocked that ability to prevent escapes from hell. It can only be used on Earth.
Drin is a demon, so there was no alternative.
Nirfei returned to her fairy form, floating in the air in front of them.
"It'll be a pleasure to work with you; you seem like fun people. Especially you, Kei. You're super fun and awesome! You completely fooled those idiots!" Nirfei said, smiling.
"Huh? I don't remember doing anything fun… But thanks…" Kei said, blushing slightly.
Mia fell to the ground, asleep, as did Drin. Both were mentally exhausted; it had been too much pressure the whole time, but they could finally rest. Especially Drin, who had depleted all her magical energy to enhance the dagger attack, making it easier for Mia to decapitate the demons.
"Well, well. I used too much magical power. I'll pass out in a few seconds too. 'Good night, miss,'" Kei said, feeling his body start to give out.
He deactivated his red mode and vomited blood, returning to normal. He hadn't deactivated it earlier because he knew his body wouldn't handle it and he'd lose consciousness instantly. And yes, that's what happened. He ran out of energy, and his arms and legs "exploded," having exceeded the limit of damage they could take.
Kei was about to collapse, but Nirfei caught him just in time, wrapping his body in her warm flames.
"He pushed himself too hard; he needs a long rest."
She laid him on the ground and stared at him.
Kei Molfer, her new master, the man who will face a Goddess. Can he do it? Nirfei doesn't know, but one thing she's sure of.
"This is going to be fun."

Meanwhile, Desmolfer was watching a massive screen in her office. A demon was showing her the security footage of Kei's fight.
"These are the security videos, Desmolfer. That boy was weaker than your spouses, but he managed to defeat them. They made the mistake of underestimating him too much. The hero Kei is weak. The power he used with Nero wasn't used here. I think that power is…" the demon said, but Desmolfer interrupted her.
"Leave," Desmolfer said, not taking her eyes off the screen.
"Huh?" the demon said, confused.
"I want to be alone."
"Y-Yes," the demon said, bowing before quickly leaving the office.
Desmolfer kept watching the screen, a look of fascination on her face.
"'I'm almost out of magic?! Shit, I can't move!'" Kei said in the video.
"'I guess you're not that strong!'" the demon replied.
"He can't move? Did he really believe that?" Desmolfer said, pausing the video.
Her face lit up with a malicious smile, and she resumed the video, showing the demon's defeat.
"You fell for my trap," Kei said, smiling in the video.
Desmolfer blushed and paused the video, gently touching the screen.
"H-He's so… awesome… 'I'm almost out of magic.' He said it so Jikor would think he had the advantage. 'Shit, I can't move.' He meant he couldn't move because it would ruin his plan—that's why Jikor truly believed he couldn't move. He knows demons can detect lies and used it in his plan… He's perfect!" Desmolfer said, caressing the screen as if she could touch Kei through it.
Beauty and power, the attributes that attract Desmolfer, but there's something else she finds appealing: souls.
And she saw in Kei something she had never seen before: a perfect soul.
"Hero Kei, I want you all to myself!" Desmolfer said, with a smile full of desire on her face.
Meanwhile, in Godfer, Fravi was kissing a Kei plushie, her face full of adoration.
"You're so cute and awesome, Kei! I never get tired of watching you!" Fravi said, hugging the plushie tightly.
Kei was unconscious, but a massive chill woke him up.
"W-Why am I scared?"
And yes, Kei now had two crazy women after him.
