Chapter 57 - Chapter 5: Seishuin Ena is Back

Chapter 5: Seishuin Ena is Back

Although there were a few small incidents, nothing unexpected happened. This year's sports festival at Sobu High became the playground for the disciples of the Living-Fist and the Killing-Fist.

Honestly, these guys really owe an apology to the students who just wanted to get a good ranking.

But no matter what, this year's sports festival was still quite spectacular, considering a group of martial artists participated.

Despite that, there were still things that made Hachiman uncomfortable.

That was the spreading of rumors like, "The guy from 2nd year, Class F, Hachiman Hikigaya, is definitely the leader of all the foreign exchange students, and he's doing embarrassing things with a graduated senior in public..."

Though it was true that he became the leader of the exchange students, the second part… he really didn't want to comment on.

"Hachiman-kun, don't you think there are more and more irrelevant people in the club?" Yukinoshita Yukino's cold voice reached Hikigaya's ears again, but he noticed she was stealing glances at him.

Ever since that incident, this girl's attitude had been bad for quite a while, but recently it seemed to have returned to normal—or at least that was what it seemed like on the surface.

Or rather, compared to the relationship between Hikigaya and her sister, it seemed like she was more concerned about something else now.

That something else was that after the sports festival, the Yomi disciples had started becoming regulars at the Service Club.

These guys had formally submitted requests to the teachers to join the Service Club.

The shameless teacher, Hiratsuka Shizune, had happily brought them over.

"That's great, Hikigaya! You've got more companions now," she had said.

Since that time, Yukinoshita Yukino, aside from glaring at him with various expressions whenever she had the chance, would also subtly express her dissatisfaction—there are too many people!

It was indeed a bit much, but Hikigaya felt that the real reason she didn't like it wasn't because of the number of people but because of the aura that the Yomi disciples gave off.

To be honest, most of the disciples from the One Shadow Nine Fists were quite quiet.

It's just that their cold presence was stronger than Yukinoshita Yukino's.

If Yukinoshita Yukino was a refrigerator, these guys were more like a deep freezer.

But when mentioning this, one person had to be excluded from the comparison.

"So boring, where can I show off?"

Rachel Stanley was lying on the table, intentionally pushing her chest forward into a very attention-grabbing shape.

Sitting by the window, Yukinoshita Yukino gave her a cold glare, eyeing the part of the American girl's body that was most different from hers, muttering softly, "Such carelessness."

To be honest, Yukino hadn't really noticed this before, but recently, it seemed like more and more girls with bigger chests were around her, so something that used to not matter at all had become a bit of a concern…

As for Hikigaya, he didn't mind. A good reading environment was important. If he could glance up and see something pleasant, it definitely helped maintain a good mood for reading.

The book he was reading today was called "Theogony."

In the Western mythology passed down to the present day, the Greek mythological system and its content are the most complete, widely used as material in various artistic works.

Even in movies, Greek myths have the highest appearance rate. They are among the most widely spread myths worldwide.

When Hikigaya was a child, he loved watching Saint Seiya, which was based on Greek mythology, showing just how well-known it is.

"Kokin, the last time you talked about testing the quality, what are your thoughts?"

Hikigaya suddenly spoke up while reading.

Kokin had said he wanted to test Kenichi during the festival.

And the most eye-catching event in the sports festival was undoubtedly the horse-riding battle.

Three people rode on horses, one acting as the knight, and they were divided into two teams. The team that captured the most of the opposing knight's scarves would win.

This was the most popular event among energetic students—openly brawling. If you had a grudge, you could settle it, and even if you didn't, you could still enjoy the excitement.

But this year, due to the infighting between the disciples of Living Fist and Killing Fist, everyone else became just background characters.

Hikigaya watched, and in the end, the team with Shirabane Kenichi won.

It wasn't that the Yomi disciples lost; it was just that they had no interest in winning. They had only competed with Kenichi to pass the time.

"Regarding that, based on my analysis, the opponent, as a martial artist, is already dead."

Tiravit Kokin said coolly.

It seemed that after the sports festival, he specifically sought out Shirabane Kenichi for a one-on-one duel and knocked him out.

Since there were outsiders around, and Hikigaya strongly insisted, Kokin didn't use the term "Hachiman-sama" with its unpleasant undertone.

But the content of his words still made Yukinoshita Yukino cast a puzzled glance at him.

Of course, no one cared.

"Yeah, after all, the sheltered flower just can't make it," Hikigaya nodded.

He wasn't surprised. The disciples of One Shadow Nine Fists weren't lacking in talent or willpower, and most of them had been practicing martial arts since they were children. Shirabane Kenichi had better resources from his teacher, but it wasn't easy to bridge the gap with the Yomi disciples.

Aside from the protagonist's halo, Hikigaya couldn't think of any other reason for Kenichi's victory.

"Of course, we Yomi disciples are the strongest," Tiravit Kokin said, a little excited. Whenever the topic of Living Fist and Killing Fist came up, he seemed to lose his cool.

However, did he really think saying that in front of ordinary students would be acceptable? Wouldn't it make him seem crazy?

Hikigaya clearly heard sympathetic whispers coming from outside the window...

Yukino-chan, with your personality of spraying insults to anyone, if you make a mistake, something very bad might happen.

"Places with too many people really aren't good," Hikigaya muttered to himself.

The door suddenly opened with a loud "whoosh," and Seishuin Ena walked in, carrying a sword bag.

"Seishuin-san?" Yukinoshita Yukino put down the book she wasn't reading anymore and showed a surprised expression. It was clear she knew Seishuin Ena.

Thinking about it, that made sense. Seishuin was a supporter of Yukinoshita, and as a member of the family, Yukino should have known about Ena's existence—even if she had never met her in person.

It was no surprise to Hikigaya that Ena was the heir to the Seishuin family.

That meant the future master of the Yukinoshita sisters would be Seishuin Ena.

But Hikigaya was also confused by Ena's arrival. What puzzled him even more was that she was wearing the Sobu High uniform.

"Yukino-chan, starting today, we're classmates," Seishuin Ena said to Yukino with a friendly smile. But when she looked at Hikigaya, her expression turned displeased.

"Hikigaya-kun, you really are a sadist, huh? Ena has already heard about what you did to Haruno, and you even picked a crowded place to do it," she said, with a slight scowl.
