She wasn't part of the reception. She was deeply lost in her thoughts. Now she had to build her dream company. She didn't care what anyone thought. She would work hard and succeed on her own. After work ended and she was heading home, it started raining again. She opened her umbrella and began walking. On the way, she noticed a boy standing in the rain, perhaps looking for a ride, but there was none. She walked past him, but then turned around. She thought, "If I were in his place…" So she offered her umbrella to the boy so he wouldn't have to stand in the rain.
He looked at her hand, then at her face. She was standing confidently. Then he looked at her: black hair, rosy lips, and dark brown eyes. He kept staring at her and got lost in the moment.
He kept staring. She gently smiled and handed over her umbrella. Rose (her name) then started walking again. Jackup wanted to ask her name, but because of the rain, she walked away quickly.
Jackup was still standing in the rain, lost in thought, when she reached her home. She only used to walk that route. He was staying in the city for two or three days, so he had rented an apartment nearby. When he reached home, he took a shower and then fell asleep.
The next day, Rose also reached home (possibly from work or an errand). She remembered the boy she had helped the previous day. She was tired, so she fell asleep early.
The next day, she got ready to go to the office. She left the house quickly and started heading to work. She was running late, so she booked a taxi. She was in a hurry. When she reached the office, she saw a crowd outside. She didn't pay much attention and went in.
When she reached her spot, she heard that today there was a new boss. She also heard that the company had been sold to a marketing firm, and the new management had replaced many people. Rose was shocked when she heard this. She had worked very hard for this company and never thought something like this would happen.
Just then, the new CEO entered, and to her surprise, it was the same boy she had given the umbrela.The easy path she found left her surprised. Oh, so he was the one who bought our company and wanted to start everything from scratch! Now he claims it as his own.
She said to his college that it wasn't about showing off, that his simplicity and hard work would not go to waste — honesty is rewarded through office events.
