Overview
After sacrificing all his power, Issei Hyoudou, the Red Dragon Emperor, releases Ddraig from the Boosted Gear to give him a second chance at life. Together with his rival-turned-friend, Vali Lucifer, he defeats Great Red and Trihexa, ending the apocalyptic war and saving the world. But instead of gratitude, betrayal awaited him.
When he returns, he discovers his entire harem—Rias Gremory, Akeno Himejima, Asia Argento, Xenovia Quarta, Irina Shidou, Rossweisse, Koneko Toujou, and even Ddraig (now in female form)—have all betrayed him.
They cheated on him with Vali, fully aware of what he gave up to save them.
The betrayal is not just emotional—it is political and spiritual. Every faction knew. No one stopped it.
Broken beyond belief, Issei disappears. And from the ashes of betrayal...
The Black Swordsman is born.

Issei's New Identity: The Black Swordsman
Name: Issei Hyoudou
Alias: The Black Swordsman
Title: Dragonless King, The Fallen Emperor, Mercenary of Oblivion
---
Appearance
Wears a black, jagged suit of armor that warps around his body like a living thing—The Berserker Armor.
His right arm is missing—replaced by a mystic prosthetic housing a compressed magic cannon and a retractable repeating crossbow, enchanted by ancient Norse runes.
His left eye is permanently bloodshot; his pupils glow red due to exposure to the armor's madness.
Carries a colossal Dragonslayer sword, forged from the corpses and bones of divine-class dragons he slew in his fury.

The Berserker Armor (DxD Version)
Origin: Forged by a long-dead dwarven godsmith, centuries before even the Biblical God fell. It was created for a devil prince who lost everything in a war.
Abilities:
Pushes the user far beyond physical limits.
Hides pain and injury—user keeps fighting even with shattered bones.
Taps into the user's wrath and despair, turning it into explosive power.
Wears down the sanity of the user, whispering to them in battle.
Downside: The longer Issei wears it, the more it consumes him. He fights a war inside his own mind every time he draws the sword.
---
Dragon Slayer Sword
Forged from the remains of Trihexa's original tail and parts of Great Red's scale that were torn off during the final battle.
Infused with Divine Slayer, Dragon Slayer, and Anti-Magic enchantments.
It's so heavy only Issei, even in his Berserker Armor, can swing it without breaking his body.
---
Post-Betrayal Personality
Cold, driven, quiet. No longer the perverted youth of Kuoh Academy.
Haunted by the voices of his former friends, lovers, and Ddraig—whose betrayal was the deepest.
Does not care for factions, sides, or divine politics. He works for coin—but if the mission involves killing a god or dragon, he does it for free.
---
