Na-ri entered her office and closed the door behind her, letting out a deep sigh that seemed to carry the weight of everything that had just happened. The confrontation in front of the entire office staff had been necessary, but exhausting. She sat at her desk, running her fingers through her hair as she tried to collect her thoughts.
Her moment of peace didn't last long. The door burst open without a knock, and Ji-a stormed in with Mi-na right behind her. Both women were fuming, their faces red with anger.
"You can't do this to me!" Ji-a shouted, slamming her hands on Na-ri's desk. "You have no right to fire me!"
Mi-na stood beside her daughter, arms crossed tightly over her chest. "Father is the one who hired her. You don't have the authority to make these decisions!"
Minji rushed in after them, clearly distressed. "I'm so sorry, Ms. Kang. I tried to stop them." She turned to Ji-a and Mi-na. "Please, you need to leave right now."
