Chapter 73 - Building a New Foundation

Although it felt strange to be alone at night, Lenore managed to get some rest, her body too exhausted by the long trip to fight the pull of sleep. In the morning, she somehow feels both better and worse. She's clean, smelling of expensive bath oils that she never dreamed of owning in the past, and comfortable with the knowledge that she doesn't need to make any long trips in a carriage in the foreseeable future. However, her body is letting her know that she pushed it too far while she was still recovering, and that comes with consequences.
