Chapter 40 - The Voidbound Sovereign

Void ling remained silent, his expression unreadable, yet something in the space between them shifted. He could see the path ahead, the confrontation that awaited them, the battle that would shape everything--but when it came to this, when it came to Seraphina, He could see triplets futures, there are things Void ling had yet to completely grasp about Seraphina.

Blaze Vortex:

(Grining, but sharp)

"You know, it's kinda funny. You see everything--every possibility, every timeline, every damn outcome--but somehow, you still don't see the way she looks like you."

Void ling :

(Low, measured)

"Seraphina does not view me that way."

Blaze Vortex:

(Grinning,but sharp)

"And that is exactly why you have no idea what's going on. You can see everything, Void--except when it comes to yourself."

Void ling remained silent, but something had changed--the words did not merely pass through him like inconsequential information. They lingered. They settled.

Blaze Vortex:

(He exhaled and shared his head)

"You ever wonder why she never hesitated when it came to you? Why she followed your lead, even when she didn't have to? Hell, why she trusted you when most people wouldn't even understand what you are?"

Void ling:

(Considered Blaze's words carefully)

"Seraphina isn't just someone who was caught in this. She has always been part of this path-- whether I realized it or not. And I will bring her back. Not because it is necessary, but because... it would be wrong for a world to exist where she is not beside me."

Blaze Vortex:

(Grinning, amused)

"There it is. I was waiting for that. You can rewrite existence, command the laws of reality, but when it comes to Seraphina? You're just another helpless fool caught in something bigger than yourself."

Void ling didn't respond immediately. But somewhere in the silence--he knew Blaze was right. And somewhere beyond reach, Seraphina did too.

Blaze Vortex:

(Soft, and teasing)

"You're thinking about it, aren't you?"

Void ling:

(Low. Unreadable),

"There are more immediate concerns."

Blaze Vortex:

(Grinning)

"Yeah, yeah. Always the logical answer. But when we get Seraphina back, you won't be able to pretend this doesn't exist."

Void ling:

(Serious tone)

"Alright Blaze. Enlighten talking, let go."

Without another word, Void ling and Blaze Vortex launched foward--their forms tearing through space itself, shattering distance with pure velocity. The battlefield was left behind, but neither looked back. The next battle had already begun before their feet even left the

They were headed straight for Number 2--the being who stood beyond Daemonis.

But even as they surged forward, something in the atmosphere shifted. Space felt different. It wasn't like before. This wasn't just another battlefield. Reality itself hesitated. The moment they stepped closer, something within the laws that dicated existence itself trembled.

Blaze Vortex:

(Low, tense)

"Void. Talk to me. You see it, don't you?"

Void ling:

(Quiet, measured)

"We have already arrived."

Blaze Vortex:

(Grinning, but edged with uneased),

"Yeah? And what exactly are we arriving to?"

Void ling:

(Low, steady)

"To a battle what has already been decided."

Blaze frowned slightly, but his voice remained firm. Void ling, sees what is coming.

Blaze Vortex:

(Bracing himself),

"Not how this works, Void. We don't lose before the damn fight even starts.

Void ling:

(Exhaled softly)

"This fight does not begin dumbhead. It already exists within the moment it is perceived.

And then--reality shifted, Because Eternal Paradox Vilian has appeared, as His name was Nox Stormbringer. The battle was already over. But whether they accepted that was another matter entirely.

Void ling did not move. His Void Requiem has not failed. Because for the first time, Void ling wasn't looking at an opponent. He was looking at something that did not belong to any system of battle.

Blaze Vortex:

(Low and steady)

"Alrighr, Void. I'm guessing this number 2 isn't just about power."

Void ling:

(Low, Contemplative)

"No. This is not a numbered existence. This is something that exists across all possibilities at once."

Blaze Vortex:

(Grinning but wary)

"So what's you're saying this guy wasn't just hiding. He was always here in this place, since we arrived?"

Void ling:

(His response was calm and absolute)

"Yes."

And then Nox Stormbringer spoke--not as an arrival, not as an intrusion, but as an confrontation of what had already been set in motion.

His voice carried no weight of time, no echo of presence, because he did not exist within the confines of moments. He did not emerge He had simply always been there, waiting for perception to catch up.

Nox Stormbringer:

(Calm, absolute)

"You step forward, believing movements holds meaning. But movements is irrelevant when the outcome has long been decided."

Blaze Vortex:

(Grinning, but wary)

"Damn, you're one hell of a welcoming committee."

Void ling:

(Quiet, measured)

"You do not exist within causality, Who the hell are you."

Nox Stormbringer:

(Soft, unshaken),

"I exist where causality does not. I an not within the confines of battle. I am what stands against it. The moment you see me--- you have already lost."

Blaze Vortex:

(Exhaled Sharply)

"So what-- you don't fight? You just show up and decide it's over?"

Nox Stormbringer:

(Soft and undeniable)

"I do not need to fight. Conflict assumes uncertainty. There is no uncertainty in Eternal Paradox."

Void ling's gaze remained steady, yet something in his stance had shifted--not fear, not hesitation, but calculation that had never been required before.

Void ling:

(Low, precise)

"You exist beyond resolution."

Nox Stormbringer:

(Calm)

"You understand--but understanding does not grant you escape."

And as those words settled into the air-- the battlefield itself had already changed. Not because the fight had yet to begin, because it had already because it about to begin.

Nox Stormbringer:

(Calm and absolute)

"I suppose you are fast, but speed itself is irrelevant when motion has already been resolved before it begins."

Blaze Vortex:

(Cautions)

"Alright, then suppose you explain that one. I'm pretty fast, you know."

Nox Stormbringer:

(Soft)

"You perceive speed as acceleration. As distance closed across time. But speed assumes tims as a factor. It assumes space. It assumed a world action follows consequences. Eternal Paradox does not abide by such a system."

Void ling:

(Low, precision)

"You existe behind the equation I assume."

Nox Stormbringer:

(Inevitabile)

"I do not reach the destination. I am simply already there. You fight within movement. I fight against it. No velocity, no leap, no instantaneous action will surpass what has already arrived."

Blaze Vortex:

(Shaking his head)

"So that's what you do, huh? You don't need to move because you already exists in every possible timeline."

Nox Stormbringer:

(Calm, and quiet)

"You are accustomed to fighting those who operate within order. Even the king of Shadows, whose mastery over the Void bends reality, still functions within the act of creation and erasure. Speed, movement, control--he dominates within the system. I do not dominate within it. I exist outside of it."

Because Eternal Paradox was not something one countered. It was simply something one accepted. The battle was about to Start. As KINGS WILL FACE THE TEMPORAL ENITITY
