The world had felt calm again.
The ancient seal in the Forgotten Abyss was now stronger. The three Lightkeepers—Ember, Lyric, and Eira—had awakened, and darkness had been pushed away once more.
But peace, as always, doesn't last long.
That night, the sky turned purple, and two full moons rose together—something that had not happened in thousands of years. The Elders called it "The Twin Moon Trial", a powerful event that tests the strength and truth of every soul touched by fate.
It was a trial no one could run from. And this time, it chose Chirag.
---
Whispers Under the Moons
Chirag was standing on a hill, watching the twin moons. Siya stood beside him, holding his hand. But something felt different. The wind was cold, and a strange energy filled the air.
Suddenly, his body froze, and his soul was pulled from his body.
He found himself standing alone in a strange world. The sky was purple, the stars were spinning, and the ground was like glass. He looked around, confused.
"Where am I?"
A voice answered from behind. It was deep, echoing like thunder and wind together.
"You are inside the Trial of the Twin Moons," it said. "Here, your truth will be tested."
A tall figure appeared—half light, half shadow. Its eyes were silver, and its body kept shifting.
"I am the Keeper of Balance," it said. "And you, Chirag, have been chosen."

The First Trial: The Mirror of the Past
The Keeper waved its hand, and a giant mirror rose from the ground. In it, Chirag saw scenes from his past.
He saw himself as a small child, crying alone after his family abandoned him.
He saw the demons who raised him, the pain, the training, the confusion.
He saw Siya saving him, healing him, loving him.
And then—he saw himself turning dark in the past, burning villages, destroying everything when he lost Siya once before.
The mirror cracked.
"You carry guilt," the Keeper said. "But do you accept it? Or do you hide from it?"
Chirag looked into the broken mirror and said softly, "I was weak. I gave in to hate. But I've changed. I carry my past to never repeat it again."
The mirror shattered—and from its pieces, a light rose.
"You pass," the Keeper said.
---
The Second Trial: The Choice of Power
Now, Chirag stood in front of two paths.
On one path lay his sword, glowing with all the power he had gathered—the Eternal Flame, the Demon King's energy, and his own awakened strength. On the other path stood a small child crying, calling for help.
The Keeper said, "If you pick your power, you will become the strongest being. No one can stop you. But if you help the child, you must leave all power behind and start again."
Chirag looked at the sword.
He remembered all the times he had been weak and powerless. The times he had begged for strength.
But then he looked at the child. He saw himself—the boy he once was.
Without thinking, he walked past the sword and picked up the child.
The sword vanished. The path changed into a bright road.
"You choose heart over strength," the Keeper said. "You pass."

The Third Trial: The One You Love
Now, Chirag stood in a quiet field. The air smelled like flowers.
In front of him stood Siya, smiling.
"I've missed you," she said gently.
Chirag rushed to hug her, but when he touched her, she vanished like smoke.
Then another Siya appeared, this time crying. "You couldn't save me before," she said. "What if you fail again?"
Chirag was confused. Suddenly, many versions of Siya appeared. Some were angry. Some were scared. Some were cold.
The Keeper said, "This is your biggest fear—not losing Siya, but becoming unworthy of her love. What is the truth?"
Chirag closed his eyes. He took a deep breath.
"I'm not perfect," he said. "I've made mistakes. But I love Siya with everything I have. I'll keep loving her—even if she doubts me. Even if I doubt myself. That's my truth."
All the versions of Siya disappeared, and one real Siya stepped forward.
She smiled and kissed his forehead.
"You pass," the Keeper said once more.

Return to Reality
Suddenly, the sky turned bright, and Chirag's body was pulled back.
He woke up on the hill, gasping for air.
Siya was holding him tightly, tears in her eyes. "You were gone for hours," she said. "I was so scared."
Chirag hugged her tightly. "I saw my past, my fears, my worst thoughts. But I didn't run. I faced them. And I chose you. Every time."
The Lightkeepers stood nearby, sensing something new.
"You've changed," said Ember.
"You shine brighter now," said Lyric.
"Your soul is whole," said Eira.
The Elders arrived at the hilltop. The High Elder placed a hand on Chirag's shoulder.
"You passed the Twin Moon Trial. Only one soul every era faces it. And now, you have become the world's true balance."
Chirag was confused. "What do you mean?"
The Elder looked at him with ancient eyes.
"You are no longer just human, demon, or ruler. You are something new—The Keeper of Balance. The one who connects all worlds."
---
A New Destiny
Later that night, Chirag sat with Siya under the stars.
"What does this mean for us?" Siya asked softly.
Chirag looked at the sky, then at her.
"It means I'll still walk with you. But maybe... I'll walk a little farther too. Help others find their peace. Help the world stay in balance."
Siya smiled. "Wherever you go, I'll walk with you."
They held hands and looked at the twin moons, now slowly returning to normal.
In silence, they knew—this was only the beginning of a new journey.
Not one of war.
But one of wisdom, truth, and balance.
