Chapter 60 - Fuck you!

The bustling market was alive with chatter, the aroma of street food filling the air. Wick and Nick were walking through the crowded lanes when Wick's phone rang. The moment he answered, his expression darkened.

"What? When? How?" Wick's voice turned sharp, his posture rigid. Then, with a snarl, he barked, "Fuck! Send me the location immediately."

Nick, sensing the shift, stepped closer. "What happened?"

Wick's jaw clenched, his fists tightening. "Sam kidnapped Bhumi."

Nick barely had time to process before Wick was already moving. Both of them sprinted toward the car, adrenaline coursing through their veins.

As Wick gripped the steering wheel, his knuckles turned white. His voice was low but laced with lethal intent.

"I swear, this will be the last fucking day for that bastard if he lays a finger on her."

---

Bhumi's Resistance

Inside a speeding car, Bhumi sat between two of Sam's men. One of them, a wiry man with a scar across his cheek, aimed a gun at her.

"Stay quiet," he sneered. "Unless you want a bullet in your head."

Bhumi remained still for a moment, eyes locked onto the weapon. Then, with a swift and unexpected movement, she grabbed the gun from his grip and twisted his wrist back, making him groan in pain.

Now, it was Bhumi who had the gun. She pressed it against his head, her breath steady despite the chaos.

"What were you saying? Huh?" she taunted, her voice dangerously calm. "Now tell me… should I pull the trigger?"

The car jerked slightly as the driver turned to look at the scene unfolding.

"Stop the car," Bhumi ordered, her gaze now on Sam. "Or I swear I'll shoot."

But Sam only smirked, unfazed by the threat.

"Do whatever you want," he said coolly. "The car isn't stopping."

Bhumi's grip on the trigger tightened. Without hesitation, she shifted the gun and aimed it directly at Sam's head.

"I said… stop the fucking car."

A tense silence filled the vehicle. But before she could react, the driver suddenly reached back and snatched the gun from her grip.

"Bitch!" Sam growled, seizing her by the hair and yanking her head back.

She bit down on her lip to stop herself from crying out.

"You think you're some kind of Lady Wick?" Sam mocked, his fingers tightening painfully. "Tch… pity for you, Bhumi. Because I'm the villain in your story. And you?" He leaned in, whispering near her ear. "You're nothing but a liability."

Bhumi glared at him, fury burning in her eyes. But before she could say another word, the screech of tires filled the air.

The car came to an abrupt halt.

Standing in front of them, blocking their path, was Wick's vehicle.

---

Wick's Wrath

The car doors burst open as Bhumi wasted no time. She kicked the man next to her hard, making him stumble back, and bolted towards Wick.

The moment she reached him, Wick took hold of her wrist and checked her quickly. "You okay?" His voice was controlled, but his hands trembled with restrained rage.

Bhumi nodded.

Wick's eyes lifted, locking onto Sam, who had now stepped out of the car with a smirk.

Nick stepped forward, placing a hand on Bhumi's shoulder. "I got her," he assured.

Wick barely acknowledged him. His focus was solely on Sam.

His fingers twitched toward his belt, where his gun rested. Slowly, he reached for it.

But before he could draw, another vehicle pulled up.

Hamza stepped out.

A moment of silence passed as Hamza took in the situation. His gaze flickered between Wick and Sam before he exhaled deeply and walked over.

"Enough," Hamza said, his voice firm. "This ends now."

But Sam, even in Hamza's presence, didn't back down. He turned to Bhumi, his lips curling into a wicked grin.

"Tell me, sweetheart," he mocked. "Did you think Wick would always come running to save you?"

Bhumi's nails dug into her palm, but before she could respond, Wick's gun was out and aimed at Sam's forehead.

A deadly silence fell over the area.

Nick inhaled sharply. "Wick… don't—"

Hamza took a step forward, his expression calm yet warning. "Lower your gun."

Wick didn't move. His grip on the trigger tightened, and for a brief moment, it seemed as if he would shoot without hesitation.

Then, Hamza moved.

He turned to Sam and, without warning, delivered a sharp slap across his face. The sound echoed in the quiet street.

Sam stumbled slightly, his smirk vanishing.

"This is the last time," Hamza said coldly. "If you ever touch Bhumi again, I won't stop Wick next time."

Sam clenched his jaw but remained silent.

Hamza turned to Wick. "Leave it to me. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again."

Wick didn't lower his gun immediately. His entire body was coiled with rage, every muscle tense, his breathing uneven. But after a long, heavy pause, he finally lowered the weapon.

He didn't say a word to Sam. Instead, he turned to Bhumi, placing a protective hand on her back, and walked away with her and Nick.

But as he left, he didn't miss the way Sam's eyes burned with something dangerous.

This wasn't over.

Not even close.
