New Alliances, Unfinished Business & The Cultural Fest
A New Beginning – Nishika Arrives
The start of the academic year brought fresh faces into the college, one of them being Nishika, a first-year student with a quiet but observant nature.
Shristi took it upon herself to introduce her to everyone, ensuring Nishika didn't feel lost in the whirlwind of campus life. With her warm demeanor, Shristi made her feel comfortable, guiding her through the social maze of the college.
As days passed, Nishika began blending in, while another newcomer, Vaibhav, found himself forming a small circle of friends. Among them was Rounak, a second-year student who carried an easygoing, carefree attitude.

Vaibhav's Growing Concerns
One afternoon, Vaibhav sought out Rounak in the canteen. His mind was restless, the weight of his visions pressing heavily on his chest.
"Hey, Rounak," Vaibhav called, settling into the seat across from him.
Rounak looked up from his meal, raising a brow. "What's up?"
Vaibhav leaned in, lowering his voice. "Do you have any idea about what's going on in the college? I heard there's a traitor among us."
Rounak blinked, taken aback by the question. "A traitor? No clue, man. And honestly, why should we even care?"
Vaibhav exhaled sharply, frustration evident. "We need to find them as soon as possible."
Rounak frowned. "But why? Dude, sometimes you act weird. You're just a member of The Shield, and you probably shouldn't be doing anything without Wick's knowledge."
Vaibhav hesitated for a moment, debating whether he should reveal the truth. Finally, he leaned in further. "Listen, Rounak… I know this sounds crazy, but I can see the future. And something terrible is about to happen."
Rounak stared at him, searching his face for any sign of a joke. But Vaibhav looked deadly serious.
After a long silence, Rounak sighed. "Alright… I don't know what's going on, but if you're this serious about it, I'll help. Just tell me what you need."
Vaibhav nodded, relieved. "Good. We need to start watching people carefully. Wick might be keeping his own investigation quiet, but we can run ours on the side."
And just like that, Rounak was now part of the mission.

An Unfinished Legacy – Vidhan's Visit
That evening, Wick was reviewing strategy notes when he heard a knock at his door.
Without looking up, he muttered, "Come in."
The door opened, and a man in his early forties entered with an air of authority. Vidhan Kashyap—his uncle.
Vidhan wasn't just family; he was the one managing the Monarch, the empire Wick was meant to inherit.
"Do you even remember you have an important meeting today?" Vidhan's deep voice carried a hint of irritation.
Wick leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples. "Yeah, yeah, I know."
Vidhan studied him for a moment before speaking. "It's time for you to start taking over the Monarch, Vikram. But it won't happen until you have a stable job. Until then, you need to start setting your base. That means no delays, no excuses. Be on time today."
Wick exhaled, his fingers tapping against the desk. He knew his responsibilities extended far beyond this college. The Monarch wasn't just an empire—it was his legacy.
"I'll be there," Wick said finally.
Vidhan gave a small nod before leaving, but the weight of his words lingered in the room long after he was gone.

The Principal's Announcement – A Grand Fest Approaches
The next morning, the entire college gathered in the main hall as Principal Sinha stepped up to address them. His sharp eyes scanned the crowd before he spoke.
"This year is going to be a golden year for our college. But with great power comes great responsibility." His voice echoed across the hall. "I expect all of you to work harder than ever because we are hosting something special—this year's Cultural Fest."
Excited murmurs filled the room.
"Every student from every college will be gathering here. This tournament isn't just about winning or losing; it's about forming bonds, making memories, and proving your worth beyond the battlefield."
The energy in the room shifted—some students were eager, others nervous, and some already planning how to make the most of it.
Then came the assignments.
"You all have two days to prepare. Shristi," Principal Sinha turned towards her, "you will be in charge of decorations."
Shristi's eyes widened slightly before she gave a small nod. "Understood, sir."
The principal continued distributing tasks to other students, ensuring everything was perfectly planned.
As the meeting ended, the students left with newfound excitement—and in some cases, hidden worries.
Because while most were preparing for the Cultural Fest, others were preparing for a far greater challenge.
Finding the traitor before it was too late.
