Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: What love triangle? Doesn't exist!

Roy sat in the locker room, calmly adjusting his gloves, listening to the deafening roar outside.

This time, Coach Lambert didn't say much. Having learned from the previous match, he already understood that Roy was just crushing the competition at this level.

"Roy, it's about time, let's head out."

Roy nodded and, with his jacket draped over his shoulders, walked from the locker room into the player tunnel

The arena was packed. Many people had come after hearing about Roy's performance in his last match, and a large majority of them were residents of Waterfall Town.

Americans tend to support local sports. After hearing that a boxing prodigy had emerged in their town, no one wanted to miss out.

Roy saw his parents in the crowd, along with Jennifer and Niddy... Wait, Heather's here too?

He clearly hadn't told Heather about today's match. How did she find out and get here?

A bad feeling crept into Roy's heart. It was possible that after the fight in the ring today, there might be another fight outside the ring.

However, the match was about to begin, so Roy had no choice but to walk towards the ring.

"In the red corner, the rising boxing star from Oak High, Roy Black! In the blue corner, from Redwood High, Aiden Webber!"

The ring announcer introduced the two fighters.

Roy and Aiden met in the center of the ring for a glove touch. After the referee explained the rules, he announced the start of the match.

Aiden came out aggressively, clearly an offensive-minded boxer.

Perfect, because Roy also wanted a quick finish. His back injury hadn't fully healed yet, and prolonged, wide movements weren't ideal.

Facing Aiden's combination punches, Roy swayed back in a pendulum motion to dodge the attack, followed by a quick jab and then an uppercut.

The first jab broke Aiden's guard, and the subsequent uppercut landed squarely on his chin.

The uppercut lifted Aiden several inches off the ground before he fell backward, hitting the canvas.

The entire arena went silent, followed by an explosion of cheers.

The referee didn't even need to start counting. That uppercut was so powerful that he felt a shiver down his spine just standing nearby. "Better call an ambulance," he thought.

And so, Roy's second match ended with a knockout in less than three seconds.

Although the fight was incredibly short, the audience was thoroughly entertained. Roy's uppercut perfectly demonstrated the meaning of violent aesthetics.

Jennifer and Niddy rushed into the ring to hug him, just like they did after the last match. Heather wanted to do the same, but she was a step too slow.

Roy looked at Heather, whose smile gradually froze, and a look of apology crossed his face.

Heather turned around and sadly left the arena.

Afterward, Roy briefly celebrated with the others before immediately driving to the Sawyer estate to find Heather.

As expected, Heather had already returned home and was hiding alone in her bedroom, drinking whiskey. Several empty bottles lay on the floor.

Drinking like this, she was going to get alcohol poisoning.

"Stop drinking!"

Roy snatched the bottle from Heather's hand.

"Roy, you're back? Do you want to drink too?"

Heather didn't seem angry. Instead, she looked very scared, as if she was afraid Roy would leave.

"Heather, I'm sorry."

Hearing Roy's apology made Heather even more scared. She immediately started taking off her clothes.

"Roy, are you going to leave me too? No, please don't leave me! Please!"

Roy knew that nothing he said would get through to Heather at this point. She was too drunk to think straight.

He could only use actions to show his feelings.

He scooped Heather up in his arms. His back injury didn't matter anymore; taking care of Heather was the priority.

Besides, the third match of the Cowboy Cup wasn't until after Christmas, giving Roy more than ten days to recover.

When Roy unleashed his 24-point physique, Heather couldn't think at all. She just felt like she was rolling on wave after wave, and the fireworks in her mind never stopped.

In the end, Heather passed out from the alcohol and the intensity.

The next day, when Heather woke up, it was already bright outside, but Roy wasn't by her side.

Heather panicked again. In this world, she had no family or friends. If Roy also left her, she didn't know how she would live.

She quickly threw on a shirt and underwear and rushed out of the bedroom. But as she was going downstairs, the effects of the hangover hit her.

This caused Heather to miss a step and fall down the stairs. The height was enough to break her neck!

Heather closed her eyes in despair, but instead of feeling pain, she fell into a warm embrace.

"How could you be so careless?"

Heather opened her eyes and saw Roy's handsome face, covered in sweat.

"I... I thought you left!"

Roy raised an eyebrow.

"I was just doing some exercise in the yard. And why would I leave?"

Heather understood what Roy meant. A silly smile spread across her face, and she wrapped her arms around Roy's neck, wanting to kiss him.

But at that moment, Heather felt a pain in her "little kitten" and couldn't help but frown.

"What's wrong, Heather?"

"It hurts down there! How many times did we do it last night?"

"Hmm, I can't remember, seven or eight times? Anyway, we used up a whole box of protection."

As a "sea king" (a playboy), Roy always carried protection with him. He didn't want to get married early due to an unplanned pregnancy.

Heather clicked her tongue, her face full of disbelief.

"Roy, how can you be so amazing? Even the male leads in San Fernando Valley aren't this terrifying!"

San Fernando Valley is an urbanized valley in Southern California, where most American adult films are filmed, earning it the nickname "the porn industry's Hollywood."

Roy put Heather down.

"I am an athlete with an amazing physique. You saw my performance in the ring the other day, didn't you?"

Heather nodded, but then she remembered Jennifer and Niddy hugging Roy, and her expression turned sad again.

"Roy, those two girls the other day were..."

"Those two are my classmates, and they're also my girlfriends."

Now that things had reached this point, Roy decided not to hide anything anymore.

Heather looked at Roy in shock.

"Those two girls know about each other and are still willing to be your girlfriends?"

Roy nodded.

"Yes! You felt it last night too. One woman can't satisfy me, so they're both willing to be my girlfriends."

Hearing this, Heather bit her lip, seemingly deep in thought.

However, this woman wasn't the brightest to begin with, and after thinking for several minutes, she couldn't come up with a solution.

Roy just watched Heather quietly without saying anything.

Finally, Heather hugged Roy.

"Roy, I want to be your girlfriend too! No matter how many other girlfriends you have, you can't leave me!"

Roy smiled, knowing that he had won Heather over.

What love triangle? Doesn't exist!

Roy picked Heather up again.

"Ah, Roy! It still hurts a little down there!"

"Don't worry, I just want to carry you back to the bedroom to rest. You shouldn't go downstairs for the next few days."

"Okay!"
