"I don't want you to marry her!" Adam suddenly grew agitated, shouting loudly.
Gilbert's anger flared immediately.
Last time, because he hadn't married Adam's mother, the boy had run away from home and even sabotaged the company's computer system. This time, Gilbert had finally made up his mind to marry her, yet Adam was causing trouble again. This was sheer madness!
"Didn't you agree last time?" Gilbert forced down his temper and asked in a low, stern voice.

Adam froze, then suddenly realized the misunderstanding. The "mommy" Gilbert referred to was Claire Miler, his biological mother, while the "mommy" Adam spoke of was Dean's mother, Emma Miler.
They had completely mixed it up!
Adam instantly regretted it deeply.
