After Wood and Kenrethor reached a unanimous, albeit reluctant, decision, both men sat cross-legged on the floor, their expressions grave with concentration. A radiant six-pointed star gradually rose beneath each of them, shimmering with dazzling brilliance.
Within the growing intensity of the glow, their bodies seemed to blur, as though they had transcended physical boundaries—piercing the limits of time and space, gazing briefly into the unknown across the endless threads of destiny.
In that fleeting glimpse beyond the veil, both men shuddered.
"What… what was that?"
"Divinity? Did we just see someone ascending to godhood?"
