At this moment, Professor Wood once again turned his stern gaze toward Helen. His voice was low and commanding, laced with undeniable seriousness.
"And as for you," he said, "from now on, you are absolutely forbidden from performing any divination for that man named John—or for anyone else casually, for that matter. Should your fortune-telling ever offend a truly powerful being, the consequences would be far beyond anything you can imagine right now."
Helen furrowed her elegant brows, a look of confusion flickering across her face. Yet despite her questions, she nodded in obedience.
"Understood, Professor."
She didn't fully understand the reasoning behind the restriction, but she trusted Professor Wood. He would never say something like that without a serious reason. If he said it was dangerous, then it surely was.
