Of course, the first image that came to Elena's mind was the evil face Xavier had made when he was torturing her that day. Her body started to tremble in anger, and she clenched her fist tightly by her side, trying to suppress the emotions that were suddenly trying to drown her.
Elena turned around, deciding to return to her room, but she stopped, then turned back to the kitchen. "Why are you still here? Get out. No one needs you here." She uttered coldly, her eyes filled with hate and resentment.
Xavier's expression was soft as he stared at Elena. He didn't expect to see her there so he didn't know what to say. He'd even been in his room the whole day as he was trying to be careful not to cross her path, but unfortunately for him, he saw her the very moment he stepped out. This wasn't easy for him as well, he hated the expression on her face…the way she stared at him as if she was wishing he could die.
