Verona couldn't even scream in pain before his head was separated from his body. His neck reduced to disintegrating atoms as his limb body dropped to the road at a high speed.
It crashed to the ground with a loud thud, splattering gore all over the road. Silas who had lost his momentum from the dash, fell to the ground with his pupils fixed on the body.
They narrowed to slits as all the airs on his body stood on end. Silas spun around, then crossed his arms in front of his face, blocking the powerful beam of light formed out of air.
Silas slid across the ground, beads of sweat rolling down his face then boiling away. His metallic arms slowly began to melt, as a sharp pain followed, causing Silas to grit his teeth.
"Teleportation? Illusion? Cloning?" Silas' eyes snapped from left to right, trying to sight his target in the darkness, but they moved as soon as they attacked, "It'll be quite difficult."
