Worlds away a heated battle between the Knights and monsters ensued. As Arthur fought a cool breeze rushed towards him. He turned in the direction of the breeze.
"He is back," he said as a monster charged towards him. He planted Excalibur in the ground and the monster ran through it splitting it in half.
On the far end in a world with much more calm. Sean questioned how what happened to him could be real.
"Where are the wounds?" he asked and he stared at himself in a mirror. After a while, he decided to research who Mordred was. He went to bed and woke up early the next day. He made breakfast and had breakfast with Angela and drove her to school. That morning when he went to work, he passed by the library.
In the library, he picked up everything he could find about Arthurian lore. After a while of reading, he noticed every text portrayed Mordred as a villain.
"Could what I experienced be a memory?" Sean thought then dropped the book. He taught of a way to get more answers. The books he read were just that, books. The only things he knew that connected him to Camelot were the helmet and his screen. He had not seen the helmet since the warehouse.
"System" Sean called a screen appeared in front of him.

[Equip. Cancel]
Sean tapped equip and the helmet materialized on his head. A chill ran down his spine. For a moment he thought he would be sent back to Camelot.
"What, unequip," Sean said but as he was about to tap the button the helmet disappeared.
"Equip," he said and the helmet appeared again. "Voice-activated, that's more convenient." Sean thought then closed the system by just saying it. Then he unequipped the helmet the same way.
"I need to find time to learn about this system," Sean said and left for the storage room. He got there to see Taylor taking out the suit from her bag.
"I thought I told you not to take it home," Sean said grabbing the suit.
"It was worth it, I made progress." Taylor grabbed the suit but Sean pulled back.
"I know it may seem like I am a stickler for rules but it is all to keep you safe. Speaking of safe why are you not wearing a suit?"
"We were finding it difficult to work in those bulky suits, " Taylor said snatching the suit.
"We? You mean Amelia is in on this too?" Sean turned around, he was about to go talk some sense into Amelia when Taylor yelled.
"Iris knows, she made people scan the whole place for contaminates. It is safe you can take off your suit."
Sean took off his hazmat suit and Amelia screamed. Sean ran in the direction of the scream. When he got there he saw a tear less than a metre long. Sean walked around it, it looked like it was floating mid-air. He focused his eyes as he tried to see what was on the other side. It suddenly started getting bigger. Sean was in a skin-tight shirt, cargo pants, and boots. Over his shirt was a tactical vest. He drew a pistol from a holster on his chest and pointed it at the rift.
When it was much bigger a fully armored knight stepped out of the rift. Sean fired at him. The first bullet he fired fell mid-air. Immediately the knight's armor lit up what looked like runes. As Sean fired the bullet kept hitting some kind of force field.
When he was closer he headbutted Sean knocking him out. Taylor and Amelia watched helplessly as he was dragged away. They went through the rift and it closed.
