Chapter 79 - Unforgivable

"What a terrifying vision! Who is he?!" Emily said in horror, watching the white light emanating from him. "We can't stay here! Everyone, fall back!" Judo shouted to the group, and everyone hurriedly retreated to avoid danger.

"Damn it!" Emperor Ba was no match for the Blood Demon and was sent flying. The Blood Demon sensed an incredibly terrifying energy radiating from behind him. Cold sweat dripped down his face as he turned to look. The young man was enveloped in blinding white light, and with every pulse of the light, the ground trembled. The swirling clouds in the sky had long been swept away, leaving only the barren orange moon.

"I won't forgive you!" My body had somehow fully healed. Losing all reason, I radiated intense holy energy. I stretched out my right hand and instantly pulled the Blood Demon's true form from Kaia's body, gripping his neck tightly. "Ugh… I'm sorry… please spare me…" the Blood Demon pleaded in agony, unable to resist. He knew full well that the young man before him was far stronger, and his life was in his hands.

Kaia, now free from control, collapsed to the ground. Emily rushed over to support her, with Judo following to help. "Kaia! Kaia! Wake up!" Emily called out anxiously. Kaia, still dazed, slowly regained consciousness. "Where am I?" "You're okay, thank goodness!" Emily said, tears streaming down her face. "Let's move him to the rear. It's too dangerous here," Judo said, helping Kaia up as they quickly retreated.

"Give me back Enis!" My eyes glowed with white light as I angrily choked the Blood Demon. "I'm sorry… I can't…" the Blood Demon wailed, begging for mercy. In a surge of rage, I injected destructive power into him. "Aaaah!" The Blood Demon's body and soul exploded into dust in my hands. Even after killing him, my heart remained restless, my anger with nowhere to go. I slowly walked toward Enis, holding her lifeless body and sobbing. "Why… why were you so foolish?" Even as the strongest in the world, I was powerless to bring her back. "The dead cannot be revived. Please, try to accept it," Judo said, coming over to comfort me. But I couldn't hear him.

At that moment, the mysterious boy appeared again. "What happened here? I could feel it even from the far reaches of the universe," he said, looking at me. Seeing him felt like glimpsing a ray of hope. I knelt before him, holding Enis. "Please, I beg you, save my wife! I'll do anything you ask!" I pleaded through tears. The boy approached and touched Enis's forehead, then shook his head. "I'm sorry. This woman's soul has already dissipated. I'm powerless. It seems she was struck by an attack targeting her soul, likely shattering it into fragments," he said helplessly. "No! I won't accept this! I must bring her back! Please, tell me how to save her! I'll face any trial, no matter how perilous!" I cried, kneeling and begging again. "Well… to save her, you'd likely need the power of a higher deity, like the Cosmic God Aotian," the boy offered another possibility.

It was as if I'd heard a glimmer of hope. I urgently asked the boy where I should go. "Since you saved this planet, you've earned the right to meet the higher deities. I can guide you to them, but the rest is up to you," the boy said. I kowtowed in gratitude, then picked up Enis, ready to depart. Emperor Ba approached. "Are you really taking her?" "Yes. This is the only hope to save Enis," I said, holding her close. "Then I entrust her to you. You must bring her back!" Emperor Ba said with a rare bow. "Even if it costs me my life, I'll save her," I replied. After bidding farewell to Emperor Ba, I followed the boy, ready to set out. "Let's go," the boy said, placing a hand on my shoulder. In a flash of light, we vanished.
