Chapter 78 - The Death of Enis

"Hmph, hahaha, this flawed world will be purged by my own hands!" the Blood Demon laughed maniacally. "You're celebrating too soon," the Emperor Ba stood up, "I am the Lord of the Demon Realm, and this place will not tolerate your insolence!" "You're a relic of the past; from now on, it's my era!" the Blood Demon retorted.

"Today, one of us will fall," the Emperor Ba declared, preparing to unleash the Demon Soul-Shattering Bullet. He channeled demonic energy into the center of his palms, forming an energy sphere larger than the one used against Bai. This move drained most of his power. "Do you dare to face this attack?" After charging, he launched the massive, dark purple Soul-Shattering Bullet, crackling with black lightning, straight at the Blood Demon. Unwilling to back down from the provocation, the Blood Demon met it head-on. "Haaah!!!" he roared, embracing the bullet with both arms. The two forces clashed in a stalemate, with the Emperor Ba pushing the bullet from afar and the Blood Demon compressing it in his grasp, gradually shrinking it. "What's that!?" the Emperor Ba exclaimed in shock. This was his ultimate move.

Soon, the Blood Demon fully subdued the Soul-Shattering Bullet, reducing it to the size of a bowling ball in his hands. "Heh, looks like I win," he mocked arrogantly. "Now, what to do with this thing?" He turned to me, and a sinking feeling hit me. I knew I was in trouble. Sure enough, the Blood Demon sneered, "You ruined my plans, kid. Let's see how you like the taste of this demon bullet!" With that, he hurled the energy ball at me.

"(Am I going to die...?)" I watched helplessly as the Soul-Shattering Bullet hurtled toward me, certain I couldn't escape death this time.

In that instant, a ghostly purple figure stepped in front of me. It wasn't the heroes, the Emperor Ba, or any human—it was my wife, Enis. The bullet struck her squarely. "Ahhh~~~" she cried out, collapsing slowly.

My mind went blank, overwhelmed by the sudden tragedy. I crawled to her, gently holding her, calling out, "Honey, honey..." Enis' eyes were shut, lifeless. Her soul had been shattered, leaving only an empty shell.

Tears streamed down my face. "No~~~ no," I sobbed, clutching her. "My Enis, my love, give her back to me..." I wailed.

"Looks like you got a substitute to die for you. Lucky kid," the Blood Demon mocked. "Enis! You monster!" the Emperor Ba roared, summoning a demonic sword and charging at the Blood Demon, engaging in fierce combat.

Unforgivable, unforgivable, unforgivable... The rage in my heart burned hotter with each passing moment.

I gently laid Enis' body down, brushing her hair as tears fell onto her face. The earth trembled, the skies shook, the human world quaked, the entire planet shuddered!

Both the Demon and Human Realms radiated intense earthquakes. Birds and beasts fled in panic, and in the human world, residents ran in terror. Even the demonic army paused their fighting. "What's happening?" Gahu said, staring at the chaotic sky and earth. In Flower Field Village, "Daddy, I'm scared. What's happening out there?" Bona clung to her father, who comforted her while watching the auroras flickering in the clear sky, accompanied by sudden rain and lightning. The ground's tremors persisted, birds fled their nests, and fish leaped from streams, some flopping onto the shore.

In the Holy Capital of Tianlai, the royal and demonic armies faced off outside the city but halted due to the anomaly. "What's this? Is something happening in the Demon Realm?" King Jothua muttered, observing the sky. In Haifei Kingdom, Yifeng and Luoye exchanged worried glances as the heavens shifted. The city's people panicked, thinking it was the apocalypse, trampling each other and causing injuries. The phenomenon wasn't confined to this planet; the energy field spread outward, reaching even the Divine Realm.

"This disturbance is extraordinary. Which planet in the lower realms is causing it?" the Cosmic God Lord Aotian asked a subordinate deity. "Reporting to the God Lord, this energy wave seems to originate from the Kangmu Star Cluster. I'll need to investigate further to pinpoint the planet," the deity replied, bowing. "No need," Aotian said calmly. "The master of this energy will surely reach the Divine Realm soon. We shall await their arrival." Smiling faintly, he added, "Seems like someone deeply emotional."

Across the vast cosmos, planets felt the energy wave's impact. On Earth, global earthquakes erupted, and TV broadcasts switched to emergency alerts. Governments held press conferences to calm the public, but panic halted daily life. People abandoned work, rushing home as traffic clogged streets and hail fell. Armies were deployed to quell chaos, cries filled the air, and social order crumbled. Tsunamis brewed in the Pacific and Atlantic, poised to ravage coasts, while the moon slightly shifted its orbit.

On other planets with heroes, the energy wave arrived.

On the Golden Satellite, earthquakes and lightning struck. "What's going on?" Hero Tada asked, gazing skyward as terrified dragon mounts roared. "Calm down, don't be afraid," Heroine Xilin soothed them.

On Boyi Planet, Hero Yidong, mid-battle, paused as he and his foe stared at the catastrophic signs, puzzled.

On Mizuo Planet, "Is this the Demon King's new plan?" Hero Xiaoguang wondered, watching falling hail. "Hurry back to the city to check!" Muska shouted, and they galloped off.

On Nidavi Planet, "I announce the 45th leader as..." An earthquake interrupted the ceremony. "What's happening?" the speaker asked, clutching the podium. A hero planning to assassinate the new leader canceled the attempt. "Let's retreat; our cover's blown," Beberu called to Xiongf, and they slipped away in the crowd.

On Qiaoya Planet, the ground shook. In a mountaintop lab, "This wave comes from deep in the cosmos. A star explosion?" Science advisor Bientanmen said, staring at the stars. "This energy far exceeds a star's explosion. Something's wrong with the universe," a hero repairing a combat machine remarked, stopping work.

The energy wave spread across the cosmos, reaching trillions of light-years, crossing dimensions into other universes. In the Miaokong Realm, the three primordial cosmic gods stirred from their trillion-year slumber, one slowly awakening.

"This is bad. This wave has disturbed the Primordial Gods. The grand cosmos may be reset," God Lord Aotian sighed, gazing at the heavens.

At the Interstellar Federation, "Speaker, a high-dimensional energy shockwave from the southeast, roughly 300 trillion mils," a subordinate reported. "Has God Lord Aotian been informed?" Speaker Kemupeibusi asked. "No oracle yet. We'll keep tracking the source," the subordinate replied. "Don't act rashly. Maintain limited energy scans and report back," Kemupeibusi ordered. "Yes!" the subordinate left. "300 trillion mils... Even thousands of galaxy clusters exploding couldn't reach that. What's happening out there?" Kemupeibusi mused.
