Alex felt invigorated after speaking her mind. It was so good.
"Oh, my God, girl. You were on fire." Riley squealed beside her. "I didn't know you had it in you." She remarked.
Alex smiled. "I stopped taking shit from people after Chad. It turned out that many people had to be put in their place."
"Why did you stop me? I had more to say to her."
"I thought she was your idol?"
"She relinquished that position the moment she implied that you were a gold-digger just because a bimbo told her that. It ain't worth it."
They both chuckled. They had walked a few distances before Helen's yell came from behind.
"Don't you dare walk out on me!" Helen roared, storming after them. But they didn't stop. She snapped at the maids nearby. "Stop them!"
The maids immediately rushed to block their paths.
Alex sighed, turning to Helen. "Are you going to hold us here against our will? What will people say when they hear this?"
Helen's eyes burned with rage.
"Today, I'll teach you a lesson."
