Chapter 35 - BOND

"Mom?" Kakashi called happily. "I so happy you're alive, I thought you were dead. Mum, I'm so sorry, I left Tokah alone and now I don't where she is. Please, I'm sorry mum, I'm so sorry"

_Kakashi thinks I'm his mother!!!._ Ayaka smiled and hugged him closer.

"I never left" Ayaka replied. Kakashi was going through a metal breakdown and it was up to her to help him anyway she can.

"Where were you?" Kakashi eyes were filled with tears, he looked like a little child.

"I was right here" Ayaka said and touched his chest. "I'm always in your heart, so I'm always with you. No matter where you are"

Kakashi smiled and hugged her again.

"Why don't you take your rest, I'll be right here by your side" Ayaka assured.

Kakashi nodded with a smile before closing his eyes.

{KAKASHI P.O.V.}

"Can I sit with you?" A middle-aged woman said.

Kakashi turned back and saw his mother, she had a gentle smile on her face, her eyes blue eyes were as bright as the sky, her long white hair remained their family's symbol.

Kakashi moved to the side a little and wiped the staircase with his hand before signifying her to sit, she nodded and sat down then adjusted her gown. They both sat on the front yard and watched Tokah playing with the stream water that flows through the barrier not too far from the house.

"Try not to get too dirty!" Ako yelled, Tokah turned to them but didn't say anything but smiled and turned to the stream. "Kakashi?"

"Yes ma"

You and my sister, Tokah are the last members of the Akatsuki clan and you both inherited the technique of the first leader" Ako had a serious look on her face, that was something that Kakashi don't see often. "You're both special"

"You always say that mom, is anything wrong?"

"Nothing" Ako replied. "Just wanted to remind you. Have you ever asked yourself why you're special?"

"No, I've never thought about it"

"When I was younger, my mother, your grandmother used to say, "no one is special, and our powers is nothing but a coincident" but I think otherwise. The strong exist to protect the weak, each of us are special in our own way. I think we're all special to be born into this world"

Kakashi eyes widened. His mother was not just something he look up to, she was like a sun that shines on him, guiding him to the right path.

"But we've always lived in here, how can we see the world?"

"No matter how we look at things, they is always someone out there who is in a worse situation, so, we should be glad of what we have. You're are special, you might not see how but one day you will and when you do, you'll remember what I said."

"What do you mean?"

Ako stood up and giggled.

"You're a strong boy, Kakashi. Always try to help others, protect your sister" She said with a wide smile. "And try not to blame yourself for anything that happens"

Ako suddenly started to bleed from her neck, before Kakashi could stand up, her head fell on his hands and her blood spilled on his body.

"WAHHHHH!!!! AHH!!"Kakashi yelled and vomited.

Kakashi quickly turned to his left, where Tokah was playing but it suddenly became foggy, the fog became thicker and thicker that he couldn't see his sister clearly. Kakashi stood up and ran to Tokah buy stopped halfway, something was pulling his hands.

"Chains?" Kakashi looked at his hand and turned back to Tokah but he couldn't see her anymore.

The cries of children and gunshots brought him back to reality, or back to the same nightmare. All his fellow inmates were fighting and killing each other.

Kakashi stood still, unable to move, his eyes were fixed on the horrors that was displayed before him.

"Kakashi!, What are you doing?" Megumin yelled.

"I couldn't do anything. It's all my fault" Kakashi replied, no, the voice in his head told him.

"Snap out of it"

---

Kakashi jumped up from his bed and sat upright, breathing heavily. He was in his room, it was just a nightmare.

"I-it was a dream" Kakashi whispered under his breath.

His hands were shaking, his body was covered in sweat. Kakashi tried to control his breathing before looking at his kitchen.

"Good morning, Kakashi" Ayaka greeted. She was still in her nightgown and wore an apron. "Having a nightmare?"

"Uhh... Good morning" Kakashi stood up slowly then walked towards her. "No, it was nothing serious"

Kakashi replied and tried to take one of the sandwich in a picnic basket but Ayaka slapped his hand.

"What the heck?" Kakashi snapped.

"Brush your teeth before you eat" Ayaka ordered. "We're going out"

"Okay, but can't I just take one" Kakashi pleaded.

"No, it's for later" Ayaka yelled then gave him an angry look.

"Okay, okay" Kakashi raised his hand up signifying surrender and walked into the bathroom.

Kakashi came out of the bathroom twenty minutes later with a towel on his waist and sat on the only chair that was in the room which was next to the reading desk.

"Have you taken your bath?" Ayaka asked as she took off the apron, she has just finished cooking.

"Yeah?"

"But I said you should brush your teeth not take a shower!" Ayaka said with tears in her eyes.

"What!?"

"I wanted us to bath together!"

"Woah! Really?. You should have told me earlier, I could have waited" Kakashi sighed and adjusted himself on the chair. "Ayaka, do you know the Akatsuki clan?"

Ayaka stood still for some time like she was thinking about something, before resuming motion.

"Akatsuki clan" she repeated like she didn't hear him the first time. "Yeah, I knew the Akatsuki clan"

"Knew?" Kakashi raised his eyebrows.

"You must have heard about the fall of the great three?"

Ayaka brought a plate of tofu and miso soup and placed it on the desk.

"I can't say I have"

"Well, I'll explain later." Ayaka took out some clothes from the wardrobe and threw it to Kakashi. "Dress up we're going out"

"Where are we going?"

"Just hurry up. I want to show you something"
