Alex frown when he heard that big announcement but he refuses to backdown. Alex look around the crowd as he was explaining the history of the skill book "However, 300 years ago, Saint Erebus was labeled a traitor and a blasphemer because he refuses to share this skill to the holy order hence he was called the fallen saint of the holy order." The crowd gasp knowing the history of this skill book and some of them have a knowing look to why the holy order just announced that whoever covet the skill book will face them because they covet the skill book as well. "And then, about 200 years ago, a group called The Fallen Court suddenly appeared and guess who's the leader of that group, it was the fallen saint Erebus! He banded together those who were labeled as blasphemer of the holy order and created this group and still to this time, they exist." After that the crowd was in an uproar and the old man with the holy order gritted his teeth. Alex smiled to the crowd "The reason I know this is because, not only the skill is in the skill book, as well as how to train the skill so that not only the skill can be pass, it can also be called as his legacy even th secrets of the Fallen court and the holy order is in this book."
Everyone was silent even the holy court was silent because of what Alex just mentioned. "So the one who will get the book will have control over either the holy order or with the fallen court." One of the adventurer whispered. Even the nobles at the second and third floor was intrigued on that book. "Without further ado, this book cost at 4,000 Silvers and every increment should not be less than 200 Silvers, let's start with the bidding!". Alex bang the gavel to start the bidding. There was only silence and Alex sighed at this and was about to give up but then "5,000 Silvers! Our Fallen Court is interested in this book as well as the secrets that Saint Erebus noted on the book" an Acolyte in dark robes with silver lining offered his bid. "Lucius! you blasphemer! You covet the holy order's skill?! I won't let you! 7,000 Silvers!" Lucius smiles "Oh~ old Deckard, still the same tricks I see. When will you ever learn? Haha, 8,000 Silvers!" Deckard clench his fist and bang it on the table "Damn you! I won't let you be! 8,500 Silvers!" Lucius laugh "It seems that you are reaching your limit old man! This book will fall to our Fallen Court! 10,000 Silvers!" Deckard spat a mouthful of blood and immediately ask his subordinates to get some support from the Holy Order HQ "It's not over Lucius! The Holy order offers 11,000 Silvers!" "Tch! What a tough old man, still not enough!" Malevolent energy can be seen on gathering on Lucius body "The Fallen Court offers 12,500 Silvers!" A pressure like a heavy mountain descent in the auction hall that made the adventurers grit their teeth to defend themselves with the pressure.
As all of this is happening, Alex seems to be not affected by the heavy pressure as he still has that business man smile as he waits for the counter bid of the other party. Light wisps surround the auction hall and lessen the pressure. Suddenly a heavenly voice was heard at the room of the holy order "Lucius, the Holy Order will not let you and your Fallen Court emerge victorious." Then the light wisps gathered around and a silhouette of man appear "The holy order offers 15,000 Silvers, if the Fallen Court can bid higher than that, the Holy Court will admit defeat at this round." After saying that, the silhouette of the man scattered and become light wisps once again. Lucius looks pale after hearing the last sentence of the man and blood can be seen dripping on his eyes like tears and on his lips "Damn you Cardinal Joseph! The Fallen Court will remember this!" With that, Lucius become a black smoke and disappear. On cue, Alex open his mouth "15,000 once! 15,000 twice! Sold to the gentleman with the Holy Order." After banging the gavel, there was a brief silence at the hall then comes an eruption of claps and emotion. "Holy shit! What kind of auction is this!?" One of the adventurer commented "This is fucking awesome! Two bigshot just had a showdown! Even i didn't participate in the bidding, I can brag this in my town!" Another adventurer said.
Even Alex felt the thrill of that bidding war. "Damn! With the potion and the skill books that I just sold, I'm already set for life!" Alex said to himself and can't help but grinned.
In another place far, two silhouette can be seen talking "have you found it?" One of the person asked "yes, I already located it. Should I start with the preparation?" Another man answered and asked. There was a silence for a few moments then the man said "how long would it take?" He asked, the other man think for a minute and answered "an Epoch." The man nodded "Go ahead and start, I want that world to be wipe out together with that accursed relic." The other man kneeled "as you order!" Then the man disappeared. After the other man disappear the other silhouette stood and look on a distance "I hope you won't blame me for this!"
